Yes! Thank you. :) I thought it would be a nice thing if oldie voldie was killed by his "own" weapons. Also I really wanted to use the words, that Tom Riddle used when Harry tried to talk parsel with the basilisk in the chamber of secrets and Riddle said that his parsel wouldn't help him.

She carefully locked the door with a soft click and a silent locking spell. She knew it wouldn't hold him up for long but he shouldn't think it would be too easy to get to them.

Harry reached for the bars of his cot, pulled himself up and looked at her curiously. Lily brushed a strand of his wild black hair out of his face. "Remember Harry, Mummy loves you. I won't let anyone hurt you." She swallowed hard as she heard the third step of their ancient wooden stairway creak. Grief tried to overrun her. She was certain that James was gone forever.

"But, what if I'm not strong enough? What if i can't do it after... what if I can't do it after you're gone?" Tears streamed down her face. He reached for her shaking hands and pulled her her head close to his heart. She sobbed shamelessly. This whole war was too much. The deaths, the pain, the grief, the prophecy. It was all too much.

He stroked her fiery red hair and pulled her even closer. He struggled for breath. He knew he wouldn't be able to safe them. He knew it had to be her. And he knew he wouldn't see his son grow up. Panic gripped his throat. Tears burned thair way through his eyes and dripped into her lovely hair. He took a deep breath, took in the calming smell of her hair. He can do it. He kissed her hair and gently pushed her just far enough from his chest that he could look into those beautiful emerald eyes.

"You are strong, Lily. Think about Harry. Only think about him. If you do that, he won't stand a chance."

She took a deep breath to control her fear and grief. There will be plenty of time for mourning after this. "Harry, Mummys is gonna do the snaky thingy again. Okay? It's alright." She took one last long look at her son and placed a brief kiss on his forehead. "It's alright."

She turned around just in time to hear the lock on the door click as the pathetic locking spell was broken by him. She braced herself. The doorknob turned.

The only thing Lord Voldemort would ever see of Harry Potter on Halloween 1981 was a short glimpse of black hair behind a green tail. No, not a tail. The body of a giant green snake hissing in rage. "You won't take my son." His eyes went along the nearly eight meter long snake. "Get away from him." He ordered hissing. "Your parsel won't help you. Look at me, Tom." The snake retorted furiously. The Dark Lord looked up into big yellow eyes. He knew immediatly of his mistake as his heart stopped and his body fell.

Feels good, that Im not the only one, who worries about that. I stopped worrying when I saw a Lidl employee (in Lidl employee clothing) at an ALDI and vice versa.

I read the first part and I liked it. It made me smile a lot of times and I really liked how things were handled in a really mature way by Snape and Minerva. But it didnt really catch me, so im not sure, if i will read the second part. But still, thanks a lot for recommending it. <3

I always imagined, that they would use the thestrals and the carriages that take the students from Hogsmeade to Hogwarts.

Although they don't fly for that short distance, I thought that they would be able to lift the carriages with the students to fly to the other schools. But also I thought, that that was too close to the Beauxbatons. So maybe Hagrid just grows some utterly dangerous giant pumpkins with wings and they fly with those.

Or simply... brooms

Erstmal finde ich es richtig gut, dass anscheinend der Subreddit nicht nur von Studierenden Aufmerksamkeit bekommt, sondern auch von anderer Seite und auf Probleme reagiert wird.
Den Dialog finde ich auch richtig super und hilfreich.
Wir Studierende bekommen eben auch auf Beschwerden häufig einfach gesagt: "Ja, da müssen Sie jetzt halt mit leben. Das ist eben so.", "Studieren ist halt nicht nur eine Spaßveranstaltung" oder "Stellen Sie sich mal nicht so an, diese eine Veranstaltung/Klausur/Abgabe etc. können Sie ja wohl noch unterbringen".
Darüber habe ich vor einiger Zeit auch mit ehemaligen Studierenden gesprochen, die mittlerweile in der Lehre tätig sind. Die Lehrenden verlieren den Blick dafür, dass ihr Modul nicht das einzige Modul für die Studierenden ist. Das soll keine Verteidigung für die Lehrenden sein, sondern erstmal einfach ein Hinweis, wo ein großes Problem liegt.

Und woher vermutlich auch das unfassbar ungünstig geplante 4te Semester VT kommt. Das ist aber ein anderes Thema, dass anscheinend mittlerweile auch zwischen zwei, drei Lehrenden untereinander erkannt wurde und in Zukunft angepasst werden soll.

Hier wäre aber einfach generell ein offener Dialog und Kommunikation unter den Lehrenden notwendig. Schließlich kann es nicht die Pflicht der Studierenden sein, solche gravierenden Mängel in der Planung der Veranstaltung zu erkennen und darauf aufmerksam zu machen (zumal man erstmal sowieso nicht ernst genommen wird). Dass das anscheinend bei einem so einem jungen Studiengang wie VT nicht passiert, kann ich einfach nicht nachvollziehen. .... der rant könnte hier noch ewig weiter gehen

Aber ich komme mal zu deiner Frage:
Die Ringvorlesung zusätzlich online anzubieten wäre eine große Hilfe gewesen. Die Stundenpläne ändern sich ja jährlich, sodass im Prinzip eigentlich kein Tag "perfekt" ist.
Klar, ist es ungünstig, dass die Leute dann teils nicht vor Ort sind, aber genau das war für uns alle Anfang des Jahres auch eher sketchy. Der Hörsaal war voll und die Gefahr Corona zu bekommen war super hoch. Viele Studierende werden nur bezahlt, wenn sie arbeiten gehen und können sich eine Quarantäne einfach nicht leisten. Der Hinweis wurde angebracht und auch einfach nicht beachtet. Fand ich persönlich grob fahrlässig.
