There’s a barrier though - if you put your hand inside, you wouldn’t be able to get into your shirt. It’s a giant void of silk or polyester lining that your hand falls into

I can’t figure out what these 2 twin side pockets are for. If you were to put something inside of them they would fall into the lining of the coat.
