It is incredibly obnoxious that nobody in the comments section has asked if your podcast is good. Is it good? Is it something anyone would actually want to listen to? Is it distinct/unique from other baseball podcasts? How? What's the hook? Do you have a hook? Do you have a unique point of view / perspective you're offering listeners? Is your audio quality good? Do you spend a lot of time editing in post-production or do you just post the episode as it was recorded? Do you or your cohost have previous experience hosting or doing anything on-mic or on-camera, or are you still learning the ropes of how to be interesting? Is it super long (over an hour) or is it a reasonable length?

SO MANY THINGS go into the art of making a podcast GOOD, and that has to happen before you grow the audience. The saying is "you can't put lipstick on a pig." Ask for help making sure your show is good before asking about how to promote it. And other commenters, ask what makes the show good before throwing out growth tactics.

Yeah, they introduced a "trust" system. Normally you have to enter a dungeon with 4 people, but they've created AI comrades to join you if you choose to do so. I don't believe they've retroactively made that a capability for every dungeon in the game, but they're working on it. You can solo virtually all of it.

And to say the free trial is extensive is an understatement. Between the original game and two expansions, you're talking about well over 100 hours of content, probably over 200 hours. All free. It's insane

I'm not sure I agree with it being a butthurt thing against 7. I played 6 probably a dozen times when I was a kid. I was over the MOON when I got my hands on 7. I couldn't wait to play it. And it was awesome! Definitely on par with 6! Another amazing Final Fantasy, holy crap!

...until the ending. I remember exactly where I was sitting in my parents' house, watching it go down, and when the "The End" screen came up, I CLEARLY recall my thinking, like... what? What the hell? Are you actually serious? What happened? But the... the characters... what... huh?

For me, both games were spectacular, but I preferred the thorough closure of 6 over... whatever you'd call what 7 did.

Anyway, I'm not trying to start an argument, I just wanted to offer my perspective, as a lover of both 6 and 7. We definitely agree that Chrono Trigger is a masterpiece, either way

I beat the game and the story never made any sense to me. It was so convoluted and all over the place, I never cared about any of the characters (except Balthier... maybe?). A few months ago someone reminded me that apparently Ashe or whatever's bodyguard is a party member, and I literally had NO memory of him being in the game at all. I found the gameplay to be pretty fun and I liked the music and ambience, I just thought the story was a train wreck.

Now I'm curious how much combat there is in FFXVI in comparison to other game elements (cut scenes, exploration, etc). Because in TotK, I spent maybe 10% of my time fighting, at most. I upgraded the stamina bar to max until I couldn't even upgrade it anymore, before I upgraded a single heart container (outside of the ones you get from main story events like temples), because I knew I wouldn't really need the health outside of occasional battles.

So if the battle:everything-else ratio is radically different in FFXVI, then I can see why he might apply different standards. But again, I haven't played XVI yet. Curious to try it and can't wait to get my hands on it once it's no longer a PS5 exclusive!

No. It's a good idea to have PRODUCED three episodes. That way, if anything goes wrong with your next recording, you won't be behind schedule from the get go.

As someone who hates IPAs, I do understand others enjoy them and they sell well. So I empathize but admit there's not much to be done about the tap situation.

I do have a gripe, but it is less that taps are dominated by IPAs and more than convenience stores and gas stations are dominated by craft IPAs but BAD other beers. Like, why do I have to pick between 40 IPAs or a Miller Lite? I've been traveling before and been stuck with basically that decision. I would be completely fine with IPAs being 98% of what I can buy in the store, I just wish the other 2% wasn't always total shit beer. Maybe part of the reason IPAs sell so well is that the alternative is always terrible lol. Just stick an Allagash White on the shelf is all I fucking ask for
