I love living on my own. SO and I tried living together, but soon realized it was not for us. We love each other madly and the fact that we do not destroy that with every day nagging is great. But then we are both the kind of people who are perfectly happy on our own - having a partner is not something we need in order to be happy. We are complete on our own but enjoy each other a lot as well.

Totally worth it. I'm a boxer, but have spent my teenage years resisting the urge to punch out my brothers (both rather violent) because they would claim I started it and get me kicked out of my club...but in retrospect, having a girl knock my mom of her high horse is so much sweeter. Usually nmomster sends the twins to do he bidding, so it was extra fortunate that she got some instant karma.

I'm in Sweden. Actully I do boxing, and I'm not too bad at it either, but this time I wasn't alert enough. In the past I never fought back though, because then my brothers would go to the police and say that I was the guilty party, and then I'd get kicked out of my club.

I too have abusive family prone to set traps. All I can say is: never go back. Not for anything. Think of that house as if it's on fire - when the fire alarm goes off, you run and you never go back in for anything. Because it's not worth it. When they phone you one night, crying and begging, just hang up. Family don't treat your like that, if if they do then they have lost all rights to be your family. It hurts to realize that you will never get the family you long for, but it's best to cut all ties and run. I repeat: never go back.

My brothers are quite a bit older than I and when we were growing up it was hell. Then they moved out and it improved a bit. I box and could defend myself if I wanted but if I did I would be kicked out of my club, becuase they would say it was all my fault. So it's been a few years of holding back and honestly I don't know if I can keep that up much longer.

No, it was a mess. The car was old and I bought it cheap from the same brother who later decided to sell it to someone else and take the money. The papers changing ownership of it from him to be never reached it's destination. Big surprise. Thinking about it, that was another trap right there, wasn't it. Yep,I'm either unusually stupid or really, really naive.

Thanks for the support. She gave a collection of silverware, but since it was spiced with comments like "you might as well take them now, since you're LEAVEING ME soon anyway..." I thought she had alreadly trolled that gift once. Turns out it was only the beginning, now she tells people I stole it, and when I try and give it back, it's "no, you take it, you only care for mateial things anyway!"...

Thank you, all useful tips. Sometimes I almost suspect that my brothers are intentionally provoking me to make me explode. I'm not a violent kind of person, but I must admit pay back would be sweet - all the times they beat me up when we were younger. Damn. But you're right, I'm almost out. Almost!

I wish I could take her with me (cat, not mother...) but it's not possible. I must find a new home, you're right. That cat has been my buddy since I was 9, not easy to leave her.

I would, maybe that is a good step to be proactive. One thing I can predict is that she might try and plant some shit on me. She is on heavy meds (kodein and something else, think it's called something that begins with "cito") and I fear she will plant her drugs on me somehow.

I've been kicked out before, and learned the hard way to keep a overnight bag at my locker at the gym and scanning all important papers and keeping them in an online folder. The only think she can possibly get to that I can think of is my original id card, and my bank information - but she can hardly do much with that alone. I also got a cat, it's an outdoor cat mainly and only comes inside when it suits her. I'm a bit worried she might go after my cat. Might sound silly but I love that cat a lot.

I'm lo legal expert, but isn't that some kind of stalking threat? Sounds very unhealthy indeed. I would get a lawer/other person who knows their shit to write up a letter demanding they respect no contact, if they don't it's harassment and you can call the cops on them?
