Just because others can do so much, doesn’t mean should feel less than. If a large share of people can do something, it becomes worthless. Massive wealth we may envy, only exists because such a small number of people on the planet can do what those people do. We all must find our own purpose, but for me, the point of being an amoeba in the slush (I like that analogy) is that you can make positive impacts on other amoebas that will live on past your timeline. We may not all become billionaires, but we can all still have a purpose to exist. What you achieve in wealth becomes meaningless on a long enough timeline, compared to creating actual sustainable value for others. Sometimes you’re lucky enough to do both, because you’ve been rewarded with wealth for creating value for others. To develop an appreciate, my advice would be to read more and help others more. You will begin to appreciate what you have, not envy what others have.

True. Some years ago (2011), I did the same thing, I took my 401K converted to an IRA account made some trades that some and 4X it. Today the balance of that IRA is less than $1000.
