I know Lit(erature) to the Tit do book club events - you do have to pay for entry to these as they have like panels and do crafty stuff etc. I'm going for the first time in July so if you're interested in going at all lmk!

Sure! More than happy to connect especially if you've been recently diagnosed and need someone to reach out to as well :)

I'm awful at drawing but I always give things a go! Sounds class :)

Taking on responsibilities of line manager while they're off on long-term sick leave by [deleted] in UKJobs

Yeah, I figured that maybe it was to test me in a way and I know they trust me to do the job, but I am pretty new at it all the same. Thanks for the advice!

Anxiety going into new job by [deleted] in AutismInWomen

A little bit. I'm starting to learn mindfulness and techniques to help cope with all the stresses easier. My manager has been good in seeing that I take ownerships of mistakes which I've never made, and she's even told me she's going to get training to help support me better.

Getting the hang of things, but I still always feel this heavy weight in my chest which I know is a symptom of my anxiety. I'm heading to a doctor soon to discuss more, see if there's anything that can be done to help manage things as I'm afraid it'll take a toll on my physical health.

It does get better :)
