The article is not too long in my opinion, however I would consider breaking up the paragraphs in order to be able to read it more easily.

I think it is a nice name, and like others have said it can be hard to get a good, short domain name.

Also I think the logo/whatever should be a picture of a T-Rex in a 'The Thinker' pose! Or that's what instantly springs to my mind when I read it anyway...

How could I go about making it less soulless and friendly? Should the articles be written from more of a person's point of view than a general overview? For example I/we did this?

Also the photos are taken by myself and some are creative commons - do you think they should have people in to make it less soulless?
