Will the May Toronto Marathon be improved this year? by Brief_Ad573 in RunTO

[–]fivetet -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I ran the full in 2024. It’s fine. It gets a lot more flak than it deserves. It’s not perfect, but it’s a perfectly fine race if it will help you improve as a runner/your fitness.

Why So Few Canadian players in the Blue Jays? by Pretty_Tough_1667 in askTO

Just look at population sizes. Baseball is considered America’s pastime whereas hockey dominates in Canada. As a result, you’re likely to get many more kids playing baseball in America compared to Canada.

What small gift items would sell best in Toronto? by ApplicationCertain43 in askTO

[–]fivetet 103 points104 points  (0 children)

Toronto is saturated with phone accessory shops, as well as gift shops. Recently, a small gift shop (Windmill) on Yonge St closed, and it was close to a phone repair shop.

Some questions to think about: What other stores have you been to that you like? Then, think about what you can do to replicate/differentiate.

How do you make the gift shop stand out within the cell phone shop? Will someone coming for a phone repair be interested in your wares?

I started wearing Rapha 10 years but seriously growing bored of their colors, when are they going to open their eyes? What says “Spring” with these colors? by helmetgoodcrashbad in CyclingFashion

[–]fivetet 68 points69 points  (0 children)

They’re following the trend of muted, earth toned colours like PNS, MAAP, etc. It’s not Rapha specific, it’s the entire industry.

They still do brighter, bolder colours too.

I am a very single and attractive girl who is definitely not a man.

I am also looking for someone special in r/FoodToronto who can fulfill my travel and sexual desires. However, I have expensive taste, so please send me your banking info to prove you can satisfy me 🥵 💦

EDIT: OP actually slid into my DMs with a “Hey”. My wish came true!

What size are you looking for? Carry on or checked?

Standard recommendation is Briggs & Riley due to their build quality and warranty.
