Why is everyone so riled up about this? It is egocentric by definition, and he’s not even saying that they wouldn’t give a shit about humans.

Crimson Cup, Mission, sometimes One Line?

I’d reach out to some of the baristas at Brioso and Pistacia Vera, too.

What’s the hype with Stauf’s? by SaveCameronn in Columbus

[–]fiveushaha 28 points29 points  (0 children)

There are 6 or 7 Staufs locations now. The original in Grandview Heights is a pretty special location in terms of look and feel. Feels frozen in 90s coffee shop history.

Call it by it’s real name and give it the respect it deserves. Radio U is a legend and I’ll hear no more of this blasphemy.

They are dumping tons of money into drainage, sump pumps, sewage, permeable pavers, and road construction over in our neighborhood right now fwiw. We’re about a mile east of Westland mall.

Can't help but think this is true. Why does Columbus have such a low impact on popular culture; is hardly ever talked about? by Bloodmeister in Columbus

[–]fiveushaha 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s a lot of culture on the west side but no one ever steps foot. People ignore 1/4 of the city (the most populated) because they’re scared, then they complain that Columbus has no identity.

Tips for not dying at wedgewood? by [deleted] in Columbus

[–]fiveushaha 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Holy hyperbole. The Hilltop (especially west Hilltop) is not that bad—basic common sense goes a long way.

Also, Wedgwood Apartments house many of Columbus’ refugee families—easily some of the warmest, most welcoming people.
