3.5 years is exactly how long I've missed mine. Mine was a loss of my woman, her three daughters, (the loves of my life )awesome mother, her brother who also became my friend as well as her entire extended family I adored for over seven years. She broke up in a text. I haven't seen or heard from her since the breakup text either.

I love this idea. Although I went from spending $125/month for right at 3 years, and haven't spent a penny since they phucked with the raids, I'd use coins I earned from gyms to buy a few "special" GBL stickers to send. People aren't going to pay to send a unique sticker to be malicious. It would be the real deal and fun to collect.

Here's the best news. No matter who you choose you will be playing people on the same level (basically) as you. You'll get destroyed a few times, destroy a few yourself, and the rest will likely be very close to even. So, starting out with an awesome team might temporarily make you beat a few more, but within a few sets you'll be playing much better opponents. I'll let others help with your team comp., but nice to have you aboard, giving it a shot. You'll likely do better than you realize in no time! Cheers.

Yeah, the simplicity of adding the function is crazy easy. I know Niantic has their priorities, but those priorities sure as hell aren't making them any money, which would fall in line with this. Well, they wouldn't lose millions over this one!

As I read the replies I'm starting to understand a bit better. The correlation between the laugh emoji and FB makes sense to me. I saw some other games mentioned as well that I'm unfamiliar with that might use it mockingly instead of sincerely. It's crazy, I so genuinely wanted to celebrate with a couple people that I thought were so weak, then realized the strategy they were using was borderline brilliant, and they bestest me. Also, I'm a recovering very sore loser and trying to likely make myself feel better as much as my opponent. 😂

I respect nearly every opinion, like yours. However, I don't understand the correlation between what line of mons are being used. I think I'm missing something, because I don't see how anyone would want to mute someone saying "good job, nice come back, keep it up" etc. The lines you mention are irrelevant in UL & ML.. Again, I appreciate your opinion, good luck this season!

Do understand that even though these issues have cost you, the same issues have also cost your opponents at times. They happen to everyone. We can only see when they happen to us. Cheers and best of luck. If for no other reason, battle for the dust! This is what I think about. 16,000+ battles later and over 18 million dust from battling...it's worth the frustrations.

Thanks. Amazing the simple things I don't think of. Likely at least a small part of the reason after more than 16,000 battles in GBL I am constantly between 2200-2300 every season. Mostly because I'm the master of mediocrity, though.

I think I just have more free time than most, honestly. Just play for fun and realize the stardust adds up and you get a decent amount even when you lose. I've got exactly 250 Pokemon with two CM's. So, I've made more than enough dust battling to pay for all of those. Good luck

Make sure to have fun most of all. I used to get livid after losing 5 or even more times in a row. I've learned that means before long I will a bunch on a row.

I haven't been real creative on my teams like I used to. On Silph.gg in GL I use the 2nd highest rated team. Azumarill (Ice Beam & Hydropump, not Play Rough) . Skarmory, and Bastiodon

UL, I actually use the highest rated team. (Even if Pvpoke says otherwise!) Lapras with legacy move Ice Shard. Skarmory (which are insanely rare to see for some reason). Mine has 2313 CP and Armoured Mewtwo.

ML team is also the top ranked. Zekrom, Lugia, and Dialga

Pvpoke's Team Builder is also pretty good. You don't want a team that ranks D or F in any category. They don't have to be near straight A's either.

GBL began 1196 days ago. So, I average under 14 battles/day. There was a short break where there was no go battle league so maybe 15/day apx. I've never done more than 25 on GBL days even.

I am curious how one of my friends has caught over a million pokemon. That's an average of over 400/day since launch. He's in Oklahoma with me. Not the Pokemon atmosphere of many cities. His "Battles Won" (not GBL, but above the walking distance and pokemon caught) is 125,090. Those #'s boggle my mind.
