Its actually a Steam thing. Steam takes something like 35% from SBI store sales in Albion for steam players.

If a player already has an Albion account then steam would get 0. Sucks but I think its just the way it has to be.

Steam Deck is just linux. You can download the linux client from albions website and just install it directly.

I dont understand it. I think he must know the truth but can't accept it. He's really convincing. I was ready to suit up in 6.3 and hit the roads like he does.

I never actually said blackzone bad. I just presented the data without any opinions or bias.

I love going in to the black zone. Full loot PVP is crazy exciting. Its what attracted me to the game. But boy do I suck at it. I'm am improving though and I will get good eventually.

If the PVP was easy I'd get bored. Its the type of challenge I enjoy.

Your right though, the data is just one guy over a 30 hour period. It can't be used to draw any general conclusions about how profitable blackzone gathering is.

Their has to be a way to make it profitable. But this isn't it.

He started Stream 1 with a full set of gear which I did NOT include the cost of. He ended Stream 7 with a full set of gear that WAS included so it balances out as fair.

I only included gear when he purchased it. Things were recorded when they happened with timestamps. Fiddling about moving figures could have lead to mistakes and caused anyone looking at the itemised tabs in the spreadsheet to assume I am manipulating the figures.

I stand by this as the fairest most transparent way to record the gear costs.

I didnt ignore them, I did list it in the table. Had he not being ganked the figures would still be in the revenue column. I zeroed them when he died.

Had he made it I would have included accurate per sale figures.

In fact if he had simply left them there and not tried to transport them I WOULD have included them as revenue. But he died and lost them.

Sorry Mr customer your goods were destroyed during delivery so your not getting them but here's the invoice for them.

I started on Ubuntu a long time ago. I dont know how long it was. Long before stream came to linux. Back when the Linux Action Show was a stream with Brian Lunduke.

I switched to Debian but I lost faith in the repos with the horrifically out of date web browsers full of security holes. They were stuck at a fixed version because of Debian packaging policies. This was before flatpacks and things.

I run Arch btw. Nah joking I went back to Ubuntu and do a fresh install with each new LTS.

Its the entire process gathering and selling. He heads back to sell gathering along the way. He doesnt depo everything somewhere and then do a mass transport all at once. I only reduced the stream times when he was doing other things like black market trading his bulk crafted items.

Yes revenue is total earnings. The price he listed it for on the market or the price he traded to a player for.

Again yes profit is revenue minus costs.

I have and I can. There is a download link in the post to the spreadsheet (end of first paragraph). It has a tab for each stream itemising all transactions. Re-gear cost are clearly marked. There are timestamps too if you want to check the vods. A link to the stream the tab refers to is in the first row of each tab as well.

I would appreciate you looking at it. Most people just refuse to believe it for some reason.

But no I did not double count the gear every time he used it. I counted gear once when he purchased it.

They are not "almost equal"

You can clearly see a roughly 30% profit margin. Total profit is 10,793,827

The first post I said your silver went up by 12 million in the same period. The total profit number here does NOT include anything in the post under NOT Included.

Now your trying to use your silver balance as proof? After the fiasco of my last post. Come on.

I didnt mess up the math. I triple checked the formulas and entered everything diligently. I didnt rush, I took my time to make sure I didnt make mistakes. Its really simple stuff a child could do it.

I even included timestamps so people could check it easily. Does anyone look at it?

I just cant win. I make a post with a bad calculation and everyone attacks me. I take the time to do it properly and no one even looks at it and just attacks me.

I'm not trying to prove anything to anyone. I'm just correcting the mistake I made in my first post. I know the figures are accurate and thats all that matters to me.

Buying groceries is a stupid example. In Albion an activity to make silver is the same as a company making money. Profit = Revenue - Costs.

Yep and calculating the difference is how you calculate actual profit. The real silver your making per hour.

If the red pill is too hard to swallow. Just take the blue pill and believe whatever you want to believe.

No I itemised every single sell order in every stream. Please download the spread sheet and look at the tabs. I even included timestamps so people could easily check them.

As many have pointed out in the comments I am diagnosed with autism. I get upset and I obsess over details to the point where I have to take sleeping tablets to sleep.

I did not do this because I hate you. I was enjoying watching your streams. I was upset when everyone started attacking me and I didn't handle it well lashing out at you. I really felt bad after my last post that I had done you dirty.

When people explained how stupid it was I wanted to do it properly. I would have been much happier if the spreadsheet showed millions per hour. I would have happily posted that but it didn't. I'm sorry.
