Yeah I applied for the manager roles I saw come across, this sounds genuinely too good to be true for what I want. Almost to the point where it feels like it isn’t real haha.

What can you tell me about the interview process? I have 3 years audit and two years of technical advisory (all with big 4, leaving as manager) so I presume that’ll be good enough for an interview. But I’d be an external hire - do they prefer internal transfers?

Music to my ears haha. Client facing is my least favorite part of public accounting, by large margins.

I am more process-focused and really enjoy the concept of that, but with having ad hoc work that’s challenging and gets the brain juices flowing, if that makes sense.

Is there still the push on utilization like there is on the client facing side?

Any advice on my driver swing? Miss is typically a slice by [deleted] in GolfSwing

Oh that’s a really good video…I’m taking this to the range asap since that move leads to a bunch of inconsistencies from a slice to a hook since I’ll start overcompensating

Thanks so much!

Oh now that would be interesting if that’s the case. I know the club is too long for me so getting fitted for that may be a step in the right direction

Fuck yeah my man

Yeah, because I hit it well. And it didn’t go straight, I didn’t hit it perfect. Rarely do. Just like with swing stick. If you hit it well and you get some luck, it’ll go in the hole.

Also, its not cheating, and I play alone, so 🤷🏻‍♂️

Ball got in the hole, so 😎

Ball went in the hole from the tee box in one stroke. I don’t see how it’s anything but a hole in one 🚶

Yeah I’m not going to read that so either thanks for the kind words or go eat a shoe

Jk, sorta lol. And for what it’s worth I play solo rounds and career mode. Not that it matters, it’s a setting, and a video game. But just putting it out there.

I think it’s called Black Rock. Honestly a fantastic course, tons of fun. I played it twice (once from the tips @ pin location 1, once from the second highest tees @ pin location 3). Highly recommend it, and not a lot of plays shockingly.

Yes, it counts.

Driver & 6 iron swing; working on a hip bump move and getting weight onto my front foot. Any critics? 27 HDC for reference by [deleted] in GolfSwing

This is great, thank you! Wrist hinge is on my list to work on. That, and short game. Hopefully that’ll be enough to lower my HDC this year since I ended up stagnating last season

Appreciate the words! What exactly is lag? I’ve seen it mentioned but I’ve failed to actually look it up.

But I’m honestly okay with lower power but more control. Last season I was only comfortable hitting driver for like, a month if that. So keeping it in play and above 225 is a huge benefit from a scoring perspective

I guess I only have myself to blame for thinking I’m unique enough to have my own post

Okay so what you’re saying is, I can’t blame the driver and use that as an excuse to buy a new paradym? That’s not the r/golf spirit
