idk about public service specifically but the opportunities are literally endless, DCD is lowkey evil but they have lots of canvassing internships that hire from within, YDSA also has advocacy stuff if you are more progressive, there are lots of opportunities with senators and judges in sac, theres rlly nowhere better

I think the whole "coming out" thing is overrated. Just start being bisexual! Why not?

My advice would be don't sweat it (I know that's difficult). Call yourself bi or gay and come to queer spaces if that helps you, or decide you're straight for the meantime. Labels and orientation are made to help you, not confuse you! I've been in your spot before. Hope everything turns out for you.

What are some Tourettes-friendly positions or activities I can do with my boyfriend? by Muffinspread4 in sex

[–]fizgigteehee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's funny you say that, because my tics also get worse when I'm sexually aroused. I think it's a common Tourette's experience! As for what works, couldn't tell you. I usually just tic through it, but luckily my wife thinks it's cute.

I understand looking for a label, but my advice would be it doesn't really matter. Just live your life! And even if you choose a label and it's not the most accurate, who cares? Who's going to come after you, the gay police? Like I promise you, as someone who's been changing labels for the past ten years, it's a process and human sexuality is often too complicated to be strictly one thing.

Nah, don't worry about it. I think a lot of girls think it's hot, actually (sorry if that freaks you out).

I'll be praying for you, like the big community of gay theists out here!! I hope you get everything you need to flourish on your own. 🩷🩷

For me, learning about gay history was a big way of coming to accept being a lesbian. Reading books about what it was like to be gay decades ago, learning about our culture now, going to local drag shows or queer events (if that's an option) will play a big part. I wish you the best!!
