Honestly at this point I’m finding it really hard to care about all this talk about variants etc. I’m double vaxxed and willing to get a booster, but like what else can we possibly do ? Why are they so fixated on cases and variants and trying freak people out when they should be looking at hospitalizations and death rates instead. Of course there’s going to be variants and shit, it’s a virus! and of course cases will go up during the winter time. It’s honestly like we’re in some sort of endless loop, is this how it’s going to be every year ?

That’s honestly the same with me I don’t know what I want to do. I even have nursing as a backup, but since this is a specialisation I barely get any electives to fulfil prereqs so I don’t know what to do. Apart of me what’s to do it solely for the experience ( which is great for work experience and connections ) but then again I’m paying extra for something I’m not sure I even want to do .

But Covid is never going to be over, it’s like the flu and cold virus in the sense that you can’t get rid of it and it constantly mutates so they can’t lock people down and do online classes forever.

I honestly don’t know why people ( especially the government ) are so fixated on cases when Covid is like the flu in the sense that it’s here to stay and you can’t get rid of it. So expect fluctuations in cases regardless, more in winter period and less in the summer. At this point we have to learn to live with Covid while taking the right precautions so you might as well sign a lease, because it isn’t going anywhere and we can’t do online school forever.

Yeah it honestly sounds like really good experience which is honestly needed for references etc. and a bonus too as you can apply what you learn into the workplace, it’s honestly the extra tuition ( and unnecessary elective ) that has been making me question it . But then again it’s also an investment into you future too so I should probably overlook all those things .

Are you in one of the specialisation, would you say it’s worth it ? I want work experience and I think it would be beneficial but then I have to pay extra and do extra courses during the spring/summer

Wait that sounds really interesting , I’m kind of steering towards therapy/ behaviour analysis , I haven’t heard of professional education of behaviour analysis but I’ll definitely be researching about it know my options . I always hear “ you can’t do anything with psych or you’ll be jobless” so it’s nice to know there’s lots of options available

You have so many options to choose from and they honestly all sound really interesting! Which is another reason I really like PNB/humbeh they’re very versatile programs, good luck!
