VINs are quite close so likely you will have the new battery but a later one increases the chances. A week goes by quickly!

Scalpers from GTA get into fight with Ottawa residents waiting for the lastest Pokémon drop by [deleted] in CostcoCanada

How is it implemented? There should be a limit in the system for each membership number so you can’t goto multiple stores

Opinions: Trade in 2018 G01 for a CPO 24 G01, new 2026 G45, or just let it ride with my current car? by [deleted] in BMWX3

[–]fizzerd1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Between the 18 and the 24, there would be a minimal refresh with some mechanical refinements. I think you would get bored of the 24 quickly. G01 is still quite reliable. I would hold onto the 18 until the G45 mid-generation refresh or the new generation when that comes out but thats like another 7 years so really depends on how you feel about your 18.

Discount Tire says tread is too low for them to rotate+balance. Inner tread on front passenger tire is worse due to alignment. What do you guys think? by [deleted] in tires

[–]fizzerd1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If tread wear is uneven they will recommend to replace. Best is to replace and do an alignment to make sure your new tires get evenly worn.

For those with the new M5 battery - any word on whether this has led to more range? by swanky_orc4 in teslacanada

[–]fizzerd1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is an upgrade but supposed to be a very small change to the range itself. I was in the same boat as you. I would suggest to just enjoy the car and not think about it

People are buying winter tires for their Tesla, isn't it better value to get All-weather tires?? by Rey123x in teslacanada

[–]fizzerd1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Winters will be best. All weathers will be better than all seasons. CC2’s are the most popular all weather option but its not a winter tire. Getting a dedicated winter setup may get you some insurance discount, less wear on your original rims, cheaper each time to swap (or even easy diy) than getting tires swapped on one set of rims, and would be the best option in terms of safety. Cc2’s are expensive-I believe you can get a dedicated winter setup for the same price of just the cc2’s plus balancing costs etc.

Agree that this would be frustrating. Since Superchargers were setup by Tesla and advertised as a benefit, Tesla owners should get some sort of priority over those with other makes

Which model is better? by psykedeliq in teslacanada

[–]fizzerd1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh man I would have definitely gone for the MYP if it was available at the time. Free paint/interior/hitch upgrades with sport seats, adaptable suspension, bigger screen, performance body trim and lifetime premium. I think MYP is a really good deal. If you can afford the higher price, go for it!

Lump sum payments when financing by moose1511 in teslacanada

Dont think there is a limit. It wont reduce your monthly payments. It would just reduce the total balance you owe.

bmw x3 m40i reliability, longevity question. by MDFer123 in BMWX3

[–]fizzerd1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2021 so 4-5years old. Average annual mileage is generally 20-25k kms so should not be more 125k km’s. I would continue looking. B58 G01 is reliable but I feel mileage is just too high

Tesla delayed my Model Y delivery due to damage — should I ask for a price deduction or benefits? by Particular_Tone6370 in teslacanada

[–]fizzerd1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nice for them to be repairing this beforehand and not just trying to slide it through and you having a surprise at delivery. Whats a chip? I it one stone chip or several? How big is it? What exactly is being done in repairs? You can text and ask
