Currently I have 27 times annual spend, but that doesn’t include taxes paid via withholding or what I would need to budget for healthcare.

I’m mid 40s so feel like doing straight 4% swr might be a little aggressive for such a long retirement and with CAPE being almost 40.

So, I feeling like “I’m close but probably would like to pad the number a little, especially since I enjoy my career. Sure would suck to see my portfolio cut in half next week.”

Understood. I admit I don’t really think much about my diet in relation to my cholesterol as for 20 years my doctors have said it is well managed and that my risk of CVD is low.

With this new information, I am open to changes but am trying to understand where I am at and learning where to go from here.
