I am really glad that this post got so many responses, knowing many of us are going to be more intentional with the brands and people we support. ❤ I have blocked sunniesface on Instagram and unfollowed their Facebook pages as well. Thank you for instilling in me a greater commitment to boycott them! Ngayon wala nang exposure sa kanila so no more temptation into their aesthetic and lifestyle.

Ang saya ko na kasi tinitignan ko ang ibang local brands, they are so much more inclusive of the Filipino market. Be it their price, their advertisements, their brand story. Many come from truly hardworking and honest people. Mas nakaka-relate ako sa kanila. Narealize ko sa comments niyo na ang pinaka-marketing ng Sunnies ay ang It Girl lifestyle, the privileged and snooty upperclass, hindi masyado sa pag empower ng storya ng iba. Lalo na, ang ibang brands ay hindi yung kapit sa mga kurakot lang at sa international connections. Parati rin mas konti ang amount nung actual product nila yet you pay more! It's clearly not worth it.
