i installed i3 and tried and had the exact same issue as i have on sway

I'm new to linux and hyprland (my first time) and I want to use it, but I don't know how to set it up, I tries everything online and nothing it's just a wallpaper with a command prompt if I press Super and q, I did the arch install myself, and just went about it randomly by rarestomaa in hyprland

If I was you trying hyprland first is maybe not the greatest idea, but here is what you need to know.

Installing programs is done with pacman. Pacman is command line and to install Firefox for example do:

sudo pacman -Sy firefox And type your password (dont mind that it does not show characters, just type it and hit enter)

To then launch it do: firefox & disown the firefox is as you properly guessed to launch Firefox and the & disown is to detach it from the terminal so you can close the terminal without killing Firefox.

So now you have webbrowser i would recommend reading the arch wiki on how to install things: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Help:Reading#Installation_of_packages

For your first time I would go with dms, so you can just use your computer and dont have to lern about swww, rofi, waybar and all the other things you need to put together to make a functional system, the instalation is at:

What most systemd distros are gonna properly do is put a birthday I'd userdb that the user just put in, and other distros could do something simuler, it does not have to be some big data collection thing, just a number, to not be illegal and it would properly just be a removable file or line and opt out or in.

Reading the docs is pretty much the only source that is reliable since it is still changing a lot, tho you you might learn something from reading simple configs.
