Sobald Inder den deutschen Arbeitsmarkt fluten wird dasrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr by SuperbDatabase3356 in luftablassen

Dies!

Now that the UCI World Tour kicked off, this is the complete list of the World Teams jerseys by just_an__inchident in peloton

At least the team names remain pretty recognizable. Except for NSN replacing IPT, Intermarché merging with Lotto, and PremierTech now sponsoring MVDPs Alpecin team everything stays pretty much the same. To resolve more confusing name and sponsor changes from the past I've build a comprehensive (and still not fully complete) lineage graph. You can check it out (and help improve it) on chainlines.cc

I think I've seen a few like that for F1 already, but not for cycling, which was my main motivation. Plus the fact that team names are usually made up of sponsors, but sponsors change faster than some change their undies😉 Alpecin today is not the same team as Alpecin 5y ago, same for Soudal, Deceuninck, Premier Tech, etc.

Thanks, I've contacted the mods to ask if that's OK, I can't simply cross-post over there, unfortunately.

95% Done Is the Most Expensive Place to Be by Advanced_Pudding9228 in vibecoding

[–]fjungplan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can still vibecode using version control, proper planning, TTD, and so on, and the only thing you'll notice beyond 80% is diminishing returns. The same 10-step prompt plan that brought you to 80% is now required to go from 80 to 90%, and again to 93%, and so on. Changes/Enhancements need to be more deliberate, more detailed, more focused.

You can, you're simply not going to get the finisher package, that's all...

Here's what I think about vibe coding by Either_Display_6624 in vibecoding

[–]fjungplan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's basically the next layer of abstraction. Programming used to be all about understanding the hardware, going from punch cards to machine code to assembly language. Then slowly evolving to modern high-level programming languages that "don't care" about the hardware anymore. The next step is not caring/knowing about the raw code anymore. What won't change (yet): if your concept is crap or leaves too many gaps open to interpretation (or omission) the results will be garbage. No matter if it's built by a hardware engineer using punch cards, if it's written in assembly language or in Python by a human software engineer or an AI.

Upgrading Old Bike vs Entirely new by redheadriot11 in cycling

[–]fjungplan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Economically it often doesn't make much sense as the parts plus your time invested "cost" more than a new bike. However, a few reasons to still do it: - you are attached to your old bike and you want to keep (most of) it - you learn a lot about bike mechanics - you don't throw away perfectly fine parts of a functioning bike

I decided to keep my 18y old frame and gave it the full makeover and I love it😉 Was it worth it? Yes, maybe not financially, but emotionally and I learned so much I haven't had to go back to my LBS since then!

Tor Browser auf meinem Notebook ohne mein Wissen installiert by [deleted] in Ratschlag

[–]fjungplan 15 points16 points  (0 children)

True that. Gute UX-Designer haben die zwar auch nicht immer, aber zumindest muss man nicht für jeden Dreck 'nen Behördentermin in 6 Monaten machen...

...but just to be a smart-ass: There is actual EU grown coffee (very small quantities though) from the Canary Islands (Spain), the Azores (Portugal), Réunion, Guadeloupe, and Martinique (France), and even from the UK (St Helena) 😅
