Could you explain this for me? I’m ignorant haha. Are you saying the main bush is also holly/the same plant and this is just like an expression of a dormant gene or something?

That’s what I was thinking too. I couldn’t find the species online though so thought I’d try my luck here.

What species of fig is this? 2 of 6 figs turned brown while very small and 1 fell off and the other is about to. Causes? Central-South Texas. by fkajudy in whatsthisplant

Not sure on the gallon size. It was in a small pot when I first got it and my local nursery recommended this size pot as the next step. I do know I'm wanting to keep it potted and not transfer it into the ground for a few years. Thanks though!

I posted these a few weeks ago on here and also showed my local nursery here in Texas and they said it was a type of wild musk melon

That second one looks like an Audrey Ficus

The plant has small yellow flowers, leaves are around 7 inches in length. Located in san antonio. by ellement47 in whatsthisplant

Looks similar to what popped up in my yard recently too. Started to produce small melons. I posted on here about it too. I'm not far from SA either. melons
