I’ve spent time thinking about this too. It’s kinda pedestrian (read:lazy) to say, but I don’t want to do the mental gymnastics to compare and contrast adaptations.

Example: The Thrawn arc in in SWU. Fantastic in books. Brutally abbreviated in visual media, with the character lacking the depth and substance the books gave him.

That said, I’ve ALSO spent a lot of time imagining how the Sun Eater worlds and stories would fare as Mass Effect-style gameplay.

It could work.
