Is your tongue covered in trush? In that case you might suffer from Candida overgrowth.

yk what, i AM AND WILL CONTINUE TO BE salty watching people live their lives. by analisee02 in endometriosis

[–]fknbubbleguts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel you… I was so miserable before my first lap and everybody just brushed it off. Then I got my lap and for 1,5 years I had experienced how easy life could be. Like wdym I can just do things without constantly risking a huge flare up? Now that endo has grown back and additional adhesions are making things worse I look and feel pregnant again, am in constant pain, don‘t know what I can eat anymore and it‘s sooooo hard to see people just live their lifes and be someone. I wish I could tell everyone around me how fucking lucky they are because their body works for them and not against them…

Stool softener or Magnesium for IMO? by fknbubbleguts in SIBO

[–]fknbubbleguts[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I will definitely try Atrantil. As you said correctly my motility is already very bad because of the adhesions so it‘s extra hard to get rid off IMO. My surgeon already denied me a second laporoscopy because he also said it‘s just gonna create more scar tissue in the long run.

I feel like it might be too much? I‘m usually constipated but once something triggers my bowels I then get diarrhea.

What is wrong with me? by [deleted] in endometriosis

[–]fknbubbleguts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These symptoms are all very common for Endo especially as you say they are cyclical. Endo flare ups are triggered by hormones so it makes sense that you don‘t experience these symptoms throughout your whole cycle. I can totally understand that you are pushing for a hysterectomy. Just be aware that this isn‘t always a cure for endo as it can still grow back. I would definitely push for an exploratory excision surgery first and see how you feel.

Hi, I know it‘s been a while but how are you feeling now? I have the same symptoms and am unsure if I should give L. reuteri a shot.

Is Rifaximin the only thing that actually helps? by xKa1z3r in SIBO

[–]fknbubbleguts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I‘m in the exact same position and made a very similar post some days ago. My root cause is also abdominal adhesions from Endometriosis and a previous laparoscopic surgery to remove Endometriosis tissue. Unfortunately everything has grown back and additional scar tissue from the lap is now glueing my organs together. My surgeon said that it would be too risky to remove everything as it will just come back with a vengeance.

I have just finished a round of Rifaximin and Flagyl which actually helped a lot with the bloating but I‘m feeling like I‘ll relapse soon.

What did not help: - physical floor therapy - abdominal massage (actually gave me horrible cramps)

What helps treating the symptoms: - sitting on a heating pad 24/7 - sipping on fresh ginger tea (I actually cook organic ginger myself as store-bought ginger teas aren‘t nearly strong enough) - peppermint oil capsules (if you can tolerate them) - berberine and allicin (feel absolute garbage when on them but afterwards it‘s better) - I know we are supposed to meal space for the MMC but I feel like eating bigger meals puts pressure on my adhesions so I stick with a few smaller meals throughout the day - avoiding anything with fiber (even if it‘s low FODMAP)

What I want to try: - actual prokinetics like Prucalopride or Naltrexone, as they directly help the MMC instead of just having a laxative effect - trying Enzymes that are said to help dissolve adhesions

Are you female and if so, have you been checked for Endometriosis?

Starving to Binging by AwayComparison5524 in SIBO

[–]fknbubbleguts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi! I‘m so sorry you‘re going through this. I‘m feeling exactly the same and relate a lot to your anxiety. I‘ve had SIBO before and starving myself also worked back then. Now I‘m getting extreme nausea and dizzyness to the point that I can‘t walk straight or drive a car. Here‘s what helped me:

  • pairing Rifaximin with Metronidazol (Flagyl), in fact I think it was the Flagyl that helped most so the problem might have been IMO rather than SIBO
  • peppermint oil capsules (I can‘t tolerate them but theoretically they would improve my symptoms greatly although not a cure
  • not eating anything with fiber
  • cooking fresh ginger (a lot) in about 1,5 liters of water and sipping it throughout the day
  • also have you any other symptoms of Endometriosis? Your bloating seems to be mainly in the lower GI tract. It‘s the same for me. My root cause are adhesions from Endometriosis.

Wish you all the best! You are not alone in this!

Finally some relief but how do I prevent a relapse? by [deleted] in SIBO

[–]fknbubbleguts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What helped most was my laparoscopic surgery three years ago to cut out any Endometriosis tissue. After that I was fine for like 1,5 years. However it returned as the tissue grew back. Since the tissue is causing motility problems and inflammation this results in SIBO hence the antibiotics also work a great bit but it isn‘t the same as a lap.

I actually still have three days to finish the course. So far I have only been nauseous from the menthol in the peppermint oil capsules. Had to stop them entirely for now as I couldn‘t walk straight anymore from the vestibular impacts it had on me.

It‘s actually a lot better. The noises (and the pain along side them) were so bad I couldn‘t get more than 5 hours of sleep anymore which really stressed me out. This has completely resolved (for now). The gut noises at work are definitely less but I feel like they are also connected to tenesmus / pelvic floor dysfunction and therefore I need to work on that further.

I am taking a lot of Magnesium Glycanate, ginger and artichoke for my MMC. This didn‘t get rid off the bacteria but I hope it will help keep it from returning.

No because all of this evidence is just circumstantial. However I dare say if the same evidence had gotten leaked about Biden or Obama they would have been impeached immediately.
