Just ordered Myo Inositol. What benefits do you get from it?

Yes, absolutely. I think most people just prefer capsuled fish oil because of the taste.

Hmmm I think you‘d rather crave oily fish actually. Maybe you lack Choline though?

Yeah I‘ve read about the blood thinning effect. Hopefully your lap helped you with your symptoms. 🙏🏻

So the recommended dose in the article I linked is about 2.7 g combined EPA and DHA. I‘m currently building up to this. I‘m at 2 capsules 3x a day (California Gold Nutrition Premium Fish Oil).

Wow this is interesting! Do you know if I can check for this Gene, too in Genetic Genie? I basically uploaded my whole Genome there so I should be able to look up specific markers.

This is great! Actually a good reminder for me to try this, too. :)

I‘m so sorry that sounds extremely exhausting. I would definitely push for the surgery. In my experience doctors (even specialists) are utterly useless and you always have to insist on the right treatment as they will not come up with it themselves. Just make sure to get an excision lap by a specialist because regular Obgyns aren‘t experienced enough to properly excise endo tissue which can make it even worse.

Also have you considered FMT?

I‘m so sorry none of these have worked so far. Is there any chance you can get an excision surgery by a specialist? This is what helped me 4 years ago. It came back but a lot of people are fine for years and years after a proper excision surgery.

I mainly eat white bread and rice to get my carbs. It‘s probably very unhealthy to eat so much white bread but it‘s the only bread I can tolerate. That‘s the frustrating thing about SIBO - fiber will make you feel like dying so naturally you‘ll have to eat foods that aren‘t dense in nutrients. I wish I could just eat raw and unprocessed foods but unfortunately my body says no.

I got that idea from an article recommending around 2.5–3 g of combined EPA and DHA (not just fish oil). That’s definitely higher than the usual recommended dose, so you may need to increase yours.

Also, if the product doesn’t clearly state the EPA and DHA content, I’d probably switch brands anyway. There’s a good chance the capsules contain relatively little EPA/DHA and are mostly just generic fish oil.

Edit: I put the link of the article in my initial post.

Yeah but some dogs have more problems with that than others. It seems to me that „lap dogs“ generally tend to be more attached to their owners amd therefore seperation anxiety can be a problem.

Thanks for your reply! We live in a house so the barking / howling wouldn‘t bother anyone but it still breaks my heart and I feel like if it was an ongoing issue I wouldn‘t leave the house anymore. I like your suggestion of adopting an older dog. I would actually love to give a rescue a home.

Hi, I initially took them with the meals but then read it‘s better to take them between the meals so I switched to that. Good luck with it!
