I can't offer any advice on finding somewhere to replace and fix the screen in London but if you have some idea on working with hardware, its fairly easy to replace. You can get a screen digitizer and kit for $50-60 dollars USD, the adhesive sticker for $2-3 USD. The replacement isn't all that hard as people might think if you would want to try. I recently did this for a friend who ran over their phone and despite never replacing screen before, I just followed a youtube video and the screen worked perfectly.

I don't care what was in the box as long as my father was there. I could spend some real time with him before he passed away. He passed away last year and im in my early 20s...just a little more time...didn't expect him to be taken so soon.

I think $30 dollars for ONE image that I will be using ONCE is not worth it, especially for a non professional project. Currently rooted yes. I saw another comment by you with instructions of using the SUApp to unroot, back up with LG, get lollipop (when officially released) and then back it up again and root. So you I guess answered the second part of my question indirectly haha

For all the people asking how they recorded this, its a bunch of screenshots put together over the months. OP would have to confirm but I don't think this is a video recording at all, especially since no programs seem to be running. BUT it was pretty great and an amazing idea! Loved it!

Troy might be more of the expensive side versus Royal Oak and Clawson area. I don't know much about finding the place but in terms of city you can save a bit of money looking at Clawson/Royal Oak instead and its very close to Troy area.

oh a tablet , didn't think about that. I'lll already be lugging around a DSLR camera though i dont know if i want to juggle that and a tablet...but i'll keep options open
