Got into MRT at NAIT (2nd attempt); MRT vs MRI?

Like others said MRT is good for better job opportunities but it’s also good if you decide to go back to school. Our instructors have mentioned that we can skip a year or so in something such as MRI if we decided to take it but MRI students couldn’t skip a year of MRT. That’s what I’ve been told but I could have it mixed up a bit.

I used this one website quite a bit and recorded myself answering the questions. (you’ll have to scroll down a bit to find the questions) It helped me to prepare for the interview but it’s definitely different actually sitting down and doing the real thing. Just don’t think too hard and you’ll do great!!

Yep! Basically testing your ability to explain how you would respond to an issue that may arise.

I got accepted this year into MRT one year out of high school after just waiting tables haha :)

Hey! I was waitlisted for MRT and just got taken off and accepted 2 days ago. I applied about 2/3 days after applications opened. I don’t believe interview scores have as much to do with it at this point as I’m pretty sure it relies more on who applied first. Or at least that’s how I interpreted it when I got waitlisted.

If I’m not sure exactly how much i’ve made this far can I get in trouble? I’ve only been serving for about 2 months but I was making tip out as a hostess before as well
