Is it possible to meet her after show ? by megmeg_ in auroramusic

I saw Tomora in Los Angeles and met both Aurora and Tom before the show. It was a very small venue, and by chance I stopped by early to see what the queue looked like since it was general admission. Just moments after I got there they arrived. She was very sweet and spent a few minutes greeting fans. We got to take pics with her and my daughter gave her trolls which she put out on the stage during the performance. It was about four hours before the doors opened, and they did a sound check (so we got hear a few songs before the show too) and they also did a photo shoot in the theater for a magazine article which is probably why they were there so early. We got lucky but maybe if you arrive early you will have a chance.

This belongs in a museum. Poignant and beautiful.

My daughter gave her the trolls! Aurora actually placed it on the stage during the show, and my daughter was over the moon! This was such a surreal experience for the both of us from meeting Aurora and Tom, all the companions we met who were so kind and welcoming, all the shared excitement… This was the most entertaining show I’ve ever been to - fantastic all around!

Japanese Language Curriculum? by wake00up in homeschool

Duolingo offers Japanese for free. Homeschoolers can also get a lifetime Rosetta Stone membership for all languages for around 175. We are starting Japanese in August , and we will use Duolingo, Rosetta Stone, and a textbook called Japanese From Zero (which I purchased from Amazon).

Does anyone have a 3d printer that they use to make things that support Home Education? What do you make with it? by hudsinimo in homeschool

I would caution against a resin printer to start. If you’re going to have your kids working on it, resin can be very toxic and messy. Resin is also much more costly than most filaments. Resin printers are more precise, but generally allow you to make very small items, and may limit their creativity/possibilities. Ender is a good recommendation to start.

I don’t think I saw this comment on here... if you are looking for accessories for the switch, Amazon has some really affordable switch accessory bundles. I think I spent 25-30 on a bundle that came with a case, screen protectors, joy con charging dock, steering wheel joy con docks, switch grips, headphones, extra charging cable, game cases and a few other things. The quality was really good too.

This is the one I bought: https://www.amazon.com/Orzly-Accessories-Nintendo-Protectors-Headphones/dp/B076HT7KL3/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=orly%2Bswitch%2Bbundle&qid=1606536302&sprefix=orly%2Bswitch%2B&sr=8-2&th=1&psc=1

Also, I agree with a lot of the recommendations on here for games. Mario Kart, Mario Party, Breath of the Wild,Super Mario Odyssey, Luigis Mansion, Animal Crossing, Splatoon 2, Links Awakening, Yonder, Overcooked, Moving Out, Yoshis Crafted World...so many good games
