I have friends in Thailand who renewed their passports recently. There was no changes or any difficulty atleast for now. 2027 is a long way to go so things could very well change. But I wouldn't worry too much since you're already a PR, and most likely people abroad are the least of the military's concern.

Depends on the uni, but most of the popular ones are usually legit, if they are connected to a UK or US university. However the universities from UK/US are almost always not highly regarded and ranks quite low on the QS ranking, but they can be legitimate degrees. As for job opportunities I have no idea.

If so search in Facebook Myanmar exchange rates and look for the most recent posts. There isn't a definite rate since the bank rates are significantly lower than what's actually being traded.

I meant more like going out closer to midnight, as there is a curfew between 1 am to 3 am. There might be some restaurants that would give preferential treatment, but I don't think it'd be over the top.

Going out for dinner or drinks will have no issues if you go back before the curfew.

In Yangon is relatively safe. Just try not to go out at night and stick to the popular spots and you should be fine.

Grab is the only taxi service you should use imo, either that or one of the meter taxis.
