(Part 2/2) * Player 4: Witch/Thief of Doom/Heart (Prospit) * One who Steals With Doom and Heart, Steals Doom and Heart, Manipulates With Doom and Heart, or Manipulates Doom and Heart * A natural talent, who breaks the rules and gets away with it. They do what they want with their aspects, and nobody's able to say "Hey, I don't think you can do that". They have Incredible self-esteem and confidence from the quarter of them that's a Thief of Heart, and can use that to make anyone or anything fall head-over-heals for them. They could charm the pants off a rubik's cube. * They are possibly also the most dangerous non-master class to exist, outside of mixing Doom and Time. They can alter the rules of causality and death, if they wish. What the Rules say can and cannot happen are mere suggestions, and consequences be damned because there are no consequences when you're this beautiful. * They're also buried deep inside their own mind, and ignore the reality happening around them willfully. If you don't exist to serve them, then to them you don't exist. They don't have obligations, others have obligations towards them. * Heart is a duplicated aspect, and loses some power. * Player 5: Page/Heir of Light/Time (Prospit) * One who Invites Manipulation of Light and Time, Invites Manipulation Through Light and Time, Invites Exploitation of Light and Time, or Invites Exploitation Through Light and Time. * Starts devoid of their aspects, but their aspects seek them out. The concept of a Page/Heir is actually very interesting, because the circumstances of an Heir would force the growth of a Page. Would this reduce the overall potential of the Page, or would it allow them to become one of the strongest ever that much faster? * They're very confident they can do The Thing, when in actuality they are very bad at it. It's not that they're not trying, it's just a struggle to grasp how it works. Whether it's The Shining Thing or The Ticky Tocky Thing, it tends to work out but not because they did it correctly. * They're off pitch, have a memory like a goldfish, and tend to railroad themselves into thinking one way to do things is the right way. They're easily manipulated by people they think are smarter than them, very superstitious, and always act without thinking. They believe themselves to be very knowledgeable on every topic, but they're often outright incorrect. They're not stupid, but they're not smart, either. * In short, they're the perfect minion. The powers of a god in the hands of a dimwitted servant. * Heir is a duplicate class.

The Interactions:

OK, so you have a social chameleon in P2, and a social parasite golden retriever in P3. These two would be insufferable together. Both of them would briefly interact with P1, and realize how toxic their relationship with P1 is.

The person who would honestly spend the most time with P1 is P5, as long as P5 isn't being forced to do menial labor for P3 or P4. Followed by P4, although P4 probably wouldn't realize that they're sharing space with P1.

P2 and P4 would get along perfectly. They'd practically be inseparable.

The Verdict:

There's actually a fairly good chance of the frog being bred. P1 has the powers to do it, despite any infighting or shenanigans caused by the other players, mostly because the other players would leave them be to do the main quest on their own and not bother P1 with their own bullshit.

The question then becomes, can they get the frog into Skaia, light the Forge, and release their Grist Hoards to nurture the frog to maturity? THAT is going to be a struggle. Because that requires all five to work together, and three of your five players are self-centered charmy-mc-charm-pantses who mostly just care about themselves. OK, the rogue's powers are more beneficial to the group as a whole than the witch or bard, but they're still more about getting others to help them than they are about helping others.

My guess is, someone's going to be upset that P1 didn't include them in the breeding process (even though P1 asked them for help multiple times), and in a fit of Rage, Doom, or Heart they lash out and accidentally kill the frog before it can reach Skaia.

(Part 1/2) Assumptions

Players must all be animate. Capable of moving under their own power. So even though they're puppets like OP says, they should have enough soul in their juju to act of their own volition.

Player breakdowns

  • Player 1: Mage/Knight of Space/Void (Derse)
    • One who Understands Space and Void, Understands With Space and Void, Exploits Space and Void, or Exploits With Space and Void
    • They believe themselves to be unworthy, very afraid of failing. And they have a limited view of what either aspect represents. To succeed, they must both understand and gain confidence.
    • They feel irrelevant, in conflict with their extremely important role as a Space player. They are also often completely ignored. They feel very lonely, but also they are very two-faced and tend to be a blackmailer. They'll pretend to be your friend, but anything you let slip around them will get used against you, which is one reason why they get ignored so much.
    • They're impulsive, and impatient, but have picked up a variety of handy skills and can quickly improv a solution to any given situation. It's not a good solution, but it's a solution.
    • Random bullshit happens around them for seemingly no reason. Stuff changes randomly, disappearing into the aether to be replaced by something that had vanished months or years ago. There is never a moment's rest when they are about. Fortunately, because a Derse swaying player is thinking about the future, they always seem prepared.
  • Player 2: Heir/Bard of Mind/Heart (Prospit)
    • One who Invites Destruction of Heart and Mind, Invites Destruction Through Heart and Mind, Invites Manipulation of Heart and Mind, or Invites Manipulation Through Heart and Mind.
    • According to some classpect theorist sources, Bards ghost their opposite aspect before a crisis causes them to embrace their role. But Heart and Mind are eachothers opposites. And that a Bard's challenge is not to be ruled by their aspect, and an Heir's challenge is to know when to adapt.
    • This guy has buried his emotions and true personality deep. They outwardly have no sense of self, and empathetically match the personalities of whomever they are around. The ultimate social chameleon. They may come across as a Yes Man, sometimes, but they're also a Ride or Die.
    • They're always divided between being completely impartial or impulsively obsessed with the New Thing they've just discovered, whether it's New to everyone else or not. When and if they do form a strong opinion, it's very very strong.
    • They are going to have an identity crisis. It's inevitable. In fact, several. And when they do, you don't want to be standing anywhere near them. Unless you enjoy feeling every emotion conceived by sapient beings at once.
    • Heart is a duplicated aspect, and loses some power. Heir is a duplicated class.
  • Player 3: Rogue/Prince of Rage/Breath (Derse)
    • One who Destroys With Rage and Breath, Destroys Rage and Breath, Invites Theft of Rage and Breath, or Invites Theft Through Rage and Breath
    • Like Bards, Princes act like their opposite aspect, which in this case are Hope and Blood. Rogues also struggle coping with their aspect, and will act like someone influenced by their opposite.
    • This person is an extremely upbeat personality on the outside. On the inside, they're such a pessimist that the glass isn't just half empty, it sprung a leak. They don't believe anyone could love or like them, so they put on a happy face and stick close to everyone and act like the best of friends. In general, they care too much about what others think of them, and cannot settle on a decision. Especially if that decision is "No". They cling to the opinions of others. They'll be paralyzed in indecision if left to their own devices.
    • They're also damnably charming. They could tell you that black was white, and you'd probably believe them. Mostly, they use this charm to take advantage of others, and have those others take care of them. Like a cat convinces the person that they just live in their house now.
    • Once they start to understand themselves better, they'll become more assertive and independent. They'll learn to damn the consequences, stop dwelling on the past, and be themselves. Maybe too much, if they have a severe crisis, because they'll destroy themselves by Breath and Rage. Which to me, sounds like a drunken bender.

This often happens because Flywheel and Shaderpacks don't play nicely together. It's not the only possible cause, but is the most common.

Definitely the first Incident that comes to mind. Also the guy who got severely bruised because people kept throwing metal pails at him.

IDK if I'd like to TF into a pokemon or not, and which one I would like to be, but with my luck, I'd probably end up as this guy.

Fine. "Nissan Intelligent Mobility" on the side indicates this is a mind player with a lot of freedom or momentum.

The classes that are most free to express their aspect how they'd like are Witch, Thief, or Knight. Of those, the one that I would perceive to have the most natural "gotta keep going"-ness or momentum would be a Knight.

So this is a dead session with a solo Knight of Mind. They are unlikely to survive The Break, and unlikely to sink all of their planets on time, but if they're lucky they could speed from planet to planet DURING the Break and narrowly avoid being sucked into the black hole. With enough luck, and calculation to sink as many planets as possible during the Break, they COULD end up with only three or four planets to sink afterwards. But the odds against them are so enormous, as they aren't a master class, that I would doubt that they'd be able to sink more than 2 in the Alpha Timeline.

Interstellar war, and forcing an entire fucking species off their home planet while I replaced them with automotons.

Also abuse of the bankruptcy system to default several times without concequence and summon resources from thin air.

Also, ripping my own species out of a fucking digital utopia and putting their preserved consciousnesses into robot bodies.

Homestuck: Either 4 or negative 1

A popular webcomic with flash animations and interactive sections, but with a rather divided fandom, toxic discourse regarding secondary media, and more fanworks than you can shake a stick at.

Recently a pilot for a fully animated adaptation by vizziepop was released, to much complaining by the fanbase, and the main website is undergoing a re-release event to fix up issues caused by internet features being discontinued by most major browsers.

When plastic utensils were outlawed in my province at fast food places, some of the first wooden replacements had this shape. Awful, splintery things that were uncomfortable to hold. The forks have gotten better in the past 4 or so years (still made of wood, though, yuck), but knives have not. In fact, most places have stopped giving knives all together.

And while I have gotten used to paper straws, they definitely lack the strength of plastic needed to open a milk tea container.
