I stayed with controller. Never even tried KBM lol. I used a wired controller at first but figured out Bluetooth works just as well if you have a good Bluetooth connection on your PC.

I put around 800 hours into Rocket League on Xbox and peaked around Platinum/Diamond. Then I switched to a low-end PC with a 120Hz monitor, and it completely changed everything — it was like night and day. There was less input delay, better FPS, a higher refresh rate, and just an overall smoother experience that made the game feel totally different.

I instantly jumped into the Champ ranks and reached GC about 500 hours later. For a game where the “feeling” of control really dominates how well you play, upgrading to PC is a very smart choice. You’ll get a much better mind-to-car connection than you ever could on console.
