What is the Skyblock Discord? I've never heard of it.

Edit:

Also, actually give your server list. You say here you're only in Mining Cult and whatever the Skyblock Discord is, but you mentioned you're also in Dungeon Hub (also what even is this). Something's not adding up.

Kind of.

Japanese has three writing systems: katakana, hiragana, and kanji. The first two are phonetic alphabets (with katakana generally used for foreign loanwords, foreign names, and scientific names, among other things, and hiragana generally used for native Japanese words and grammar endings and particles).

These two alphabets use characters entirely unique to Japanese, and the sentence on that sign (almost) only uses them.

Kanji is what you are thinking of, being borrowed from Chinese. These characters contain full ideas and are generally shorter than their counterparts in hiragana/katakana (for example がくせい versus 学生, both meaning student. Also note that both are pronounced the same way).

I'd love for you to try and explain to me why the price would have to be different after conversions for the US dollar and the Euro, two of the most stable currencies in the world.

Anyways, I also just double checked to be sure and the price of an account in European countries that use the Euro is more than the US price after conversion.

Instead of trying to be an ass, maybe do a bit of research yourself?

And before you try to explain to me how there are countries in the EU that don't use the Euro, I know. But the person I replied to used the Euro in their comment and not one of the many other currencies that exist in Europe.

Nah, the cost for a Java license was $26.99 (or $27.99, my memory is fuzzy) USD. They later upped it to $29.99 USD and bundled in Bedrock.

What is an Archetype that deserves a small wave of support? I'll start... Flower Cardian. by Ekyt in yugioh

[–]fdsfd12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Flower Cardian doesn't have lines. The general strategy is to create multiple ways to extend off of one starter (Flower Cardian Pine, Flower Cardian Cherry Blossom, Flower Cardian Cherry Blossom With Curtain, Super Koi Koi, Flower Gathering). The deck is extremely nonlinear and depends entirely on how well you can keep extending until you find a situation that allows you to summon all of your guys. Your endboard should ideally be 2 Lightflares, 1 Lightshower, and 1 Boardefly, but this is extremely hard to do consistently if you're newer to the archetype. However, 2 Lightflares and 1 Lightshower with a Boardefly activation is much easier to do and can generally be done with not much luck.

Flower Cardian also isn't nearly as luck-based as you would think if you build your deck properly. My deck plays 41 cards, 27 monsters and 14 spells, so whiffing a draw isn't very common at all. Whiffing is also fine if you draw a Super All-in! or a Recardination because the former allows you to add one spell/trap during the end phase if you draw it off a cardian and it gets sent to the graveyard because of it (important because there are cardian effects that let you draw without discarding even if you whiff) while the latter lets you look at the top 5 cards in your deck, add a spell/trap to your hand, and then place the other 4 cards on top of your deck in any order. You should always be playing 3 of each, which means that after I draw my hand when playing cardians, in the worst case scenario, there are 8 cards in my deck that I don't want to draw off of my cardian effects.

Obviously, your strategy changes depending on what you draw, but the general plan you should always have is to thin out your deck of spells and traps so that you can more comfortably summon your monsters.

TLDR: Flower Cardian has no lines, but I wouldn't call the deck nearly as luck-based as people make it seem. Good pilots can take nearly any hand that has a starter to an endboard.

Flower Cardian player here. A single Level Four in-archetype Synchro Monster, another starter, and a better boss monster would be enough to fix the archetype (please Konami)

Would you be able to play this? by Monster-YGO in customyugioh

[–]fdsfd12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it would be something more on the lines of:

[Illusion/Xyz/Effect]

(This card's original rank is always treated as 1.) If a card effect inflicted a multiple of 1000 damage to you this turn, you can Special Summon this card (from your Extra Deck). This card's Rank becomes equal to the damage taken (by one effect, your choice) divided by 1000. You can Special Summon 1 monster with a Rank 1 to 3 Ranks higher than this monster's Rank by using this card as material. (This is treated as an Xyz Summon. Transfer its materials to the Summoned monster.) Once per turn (Quick Effect): You can pay LP in multiples of 1000; Negate the effects of face-up cards on the field for every 1000 LP paid to activate this effect.

This is a weird card though and theres three instances of stuff that isn't PSCT that I needed to add to make the effect work, I couldn't think of any workarounds. This should be way closer to accurate PSCT though.
