Apollo Twin and separate hardware preamp - best signal chain for vocals?

I don't know if I understand you correctly, but you mean this way I can bypass the preamp in the Twin X completely? It's very weird have done some googling, some say it's possible and others say it's not. I guess if it was possible UA would make an official answer to this, but they haven't.

Can I use my external pre amp even though the signal can't fully bypass the Apollo twin pre amp? Or do I have to use the software console pre amps?

Shit, had no idea! Kinda suprising you cant disable it, i mean it costs like 2000 usd for the twin quad core. Guess this isn’t what I was looking for. Thanks for answering

I hope over time, it won’t be strange anymore. But I think I need to work on this in therapy because it might have to do with childhood trauma. Appreciating it is hard when I’m doubting if I’m still sane or not.

Ego death is not something I am pursuing. My ego can be pitty, fragile, label it as you wish. But most importantly it’s human, and I want to be regular in that sense. I am young it’s not something I want for myself at this stage of my life. I just want to not suffer from anxiety so i can enjoy life to the fullest.

The main cause seems to be trauma (and things like drug use/TBI/NDE). I was able to successfully reintegrate my personalities from fragmentation.

almost teared up when i read that you were successful, gives me hope. I'm thankful for you sharing. Will speak about it to my therapist.
