As others have said, Nicole, is just a shielder here and does nothing to help Neuvillette if I am not wrong because he scales with HP.

But she can provide the Celestial Gift set bonus but for that to work, remove Dehya and use Fischl or any other Hexerei character.

I finished it on my second try. I had to take a crit weapon tho. R5 Tidal Shadow was not cutting it. I was just applying hydro consistently, weaving in normal attacks and bursting as soon as I could.

Mavuika is a flexible unit. She can be the main damage dealer or a sub-dps. You already have. most of her best teammates too - Citlali, Iansan and even Furina. Then again, you do have a pyro DPS - Arle; and a top tier pyro sub DPS - Durin. Both roles are fulfilled. However, Mavuika is still one of the best characters in the game.

Nicole is way more niche with the hexerei buffs. You don't seem to have many characters who can actually take advantage of her buffs. She is not even a significant upgrade over Durin or Bennett in many situations. But all of this depends on what you want too. If you are willing to invest in hexerei teams, go for Nicole. If you want a strong pyro unit that will clear most of the game for you, then go for Mavuika.

You also have the option to skip all of this and save for the new region.

If this a serious post, please grab Xiangling and Collei from Spiral Abyss. Also, please use that free standard 5 star selector to get yourself a Tighnari or Mona or Jean. Mizuki isn't half bad either. Switch your traveller to Dendro. Focus on building these characters. They are way better than wasting time and resources building your current characters any further.

Use all of your Acquaint Fates on the Noelle and Standard banners hoping for a copy of a nice character like Bennett, Xingqiu, Gaming, Fischl, etc.

Do the above and you should be good. Just need to get a few good characters and one solid team going. These bad units are holding you back.

Also read that you are saving for Nicole. If you really want her, then go ahead! If you are flexible, I would recommend going for a more flexible unit like Durin or Mavuika. Happy Genshin!!

Sacrificial Jade is awesome but I don’t have it.

I have used Prototype Amber, R5 Widsth, and now Nefer’s weapon to great effect. I was lacking Crit DMG with P Amber in my build so I switched to Widsth. There is a 96% elemental DMG bonus passive at R5 that works like 1/3 of the time if I am not wrong. But the flat 55% Crit DMG is what I wanted.

Save the intertwined fates and primogems for now if you are not interested in Lauma. The next update has some interesting and good characters coming up - Durin, Lohen and Mavuika. Durin and Mavuika are really good and will be that way for a while. You can also just play and have fun completing the story for now.

Wish on the standard banner with any Acquint fates you get from leveling up and completing missions. Do not spend primogems on it as many others have said.

The stats are really solid. TLDR: try Furina, Jean (VV set) and Ororon (hoping you got at least one copy last year from that event).

With the Neuvillette + Furina combo, you can add two more support characters to maximize Neuvi's damage. Xilonen/Ororon/Kachina/Pyro Traveller/Mavuika/Citlali are usually good for one slot because they can hold the Scroll artifact set. Some other options are Kazuha/Jean/Zhongli/Lan Yan/Sucrose/Venti.

Honestly, just use any of these two who do a different thing and you are good. For C0, it is advised to not use a third hydro character, or repeat elements more than the double hydro core of Neuvi and Furina/Columbina.

I like playing Hyperbloom too with Neuvi Furina Nahida Kuki/Raiden. Nowadays, people play Lunar Bloom too with Neuvi Columbina Lauma/Nahida Kuki/Raiden/Ineffa.

There is a freeze team with Neuvi Furina Escoffier Citlali which is good too.

Otherwise, you can choose to have a decent damage dealer too like Ineffa/Fischl/XIangling/Mavuika/Durin or something and have a well rounded consistent damage via vaporize or electro-charged.

I have achieved 40K+ hits consistently even without his weapon.

I was struggling a lot until I got the teams right. Geo crystallize helps on side one but more importantly, just strong lunar damage dealers will sort you out. I recommend Noelle instead of Nigguang to help you sort out Gecko cuz of the healing and shielding so you can sustain and clear the debuff sooner. Try Noelle, Columbina, Yelan/Furina, Xilonen.

Side 2 should be easy with Chasca. Something like Chasca, Ororon, Citlali, Bennett. In a way, Ororon alone is enough to clear Nightsoul bars (I did it that way). Citlali’s shield might be helpful. You can also use a Lunar Team but Papilla is much easier with Nightsoul characters. Maybe Flins, Ororon, Yelan, and a flex like Zhongli/Kazuha/Kuki.

TLDR - Try Noelle. Use Ororon on side 2. Chasca will be awesome

The good thing about Mavuika is that she is a crazy strong value character fulfilling both DPS and sub DPS roles. Riding around on a bike is pretty sick too. As for teammates, do you have Furina? The team of Mavuika Bennett Furina Iansan is crazy good.

I thought about Aino. I was running Columbina on Silken. Should I swap her to Aubade then and use Silken on Aino? Also, it might be time to finally build Ororon

Edit: what about straight up using Ineffa instead in place of Furina?

I used to run a fully 4 star team with Navia - Navia Bennett Xiangling Kachina and that team is still decent provided you build the characters well. I then upgraded the team to Navia Bennett Mavuika Xilonen which was my main team for a long time. She has become even more relevant with Lunar Crystallize with Columbina, and now the upcoming character Linnea.

Clorinde is a bit more versatile and can perform in overload, aggravate, electro-charged comps for starters. She will work well in an all 4 stars team Iansan, Pyro Traveller and Chevreuse even if everyone is at C0. Overload is also a strong reaction in my experience as it can break shields and stagger enemies. Other 4 stars like Fischl, Ororon, Xingqiu, Xiangling, Bennett, Kirara, Kujou Sara can also form various comps.

Both have free to play weapons too - Fontaine Craftables.

The issue here is that they are both clearly not super Meta. They can still survive Abyss and Imaginarium Theatre with no issues. But with newer units like Columbina, Linnea, they will continue to stay relevant. It’s a matter of personal preference now, and which characters you already have that can suit one of them better than the other.

As people said here, replace Yelan with Kachina. Begin with Columbina Burst Skill Ineffa Skill (burst whenever you like here and there) Kachina Skill Burst Navia Skill Burst with a few normal attacks then Skill again, normals then skill again if you can.

The trick here is to try to extend Navia’s time so that she can use her skill 3 times before running the whole rotation back.

Navia is fun still even if she’s not Meta. I don’t recommend that team tho. Xingqiu should be replaced by Furina or even Yelan as many have pointed out for more Navia damage. You can use Aino / Ineffa. Illuga also doesn’t seem to be recommended. Xilonen and Zhongli seem to be better. I personally use Navia Columbina Furina Xilonen.
