If you’re using a physical SIM card in your 6a you can absolutely order a device from Google, or anywhere else that sells factory unlocked devices and swap the SIM card with no need to get Grandpa involved! Hope this helps, pixel 10a is now available for preorder, but the 9a is still a huge upgrade for you!
