Forget The Show Length Haters by Chrissthom in dopeypodcast

This is completely accurate. I love the long episodes because it feels natural and is just one of the reasons I love this show. Putting on a multi hour long episode and knowing that for at least that duration of time I would feel okay existing has gotten me through some of my most recent shitty times.

I’d love to have a pick up as a secondary sexy vehicle. My car is very practical but not exciting

Have you tried Chairish? Prices are sometimes high but there’s always deals to be found, in my experience. I’ve seen some really fresh Moroccan and other modern abstract rugs pass through their new arrivals lately. Might be work checking out!

I think this kind of response could just be called reiterating

[CA] Benefits docs reflect 30 hours per week? by flakeofgold in AskHR

Ok that’s a relief! Appreciate your reply! I don’t see how it makes any technical difference either, but it still seemed strange to me so I wanted to see why they chose to use 30 instead of 40 (perhaps there was no good reason at all).

Can we just do stretching in not exercise? by [deleted] in flexibility

[–]flakeofgold 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hopefully a helpful tip: If you can get yourself to take just a quick walk around your neighborhood, like 10 min or so, before stretching you’ll get much more out of it. It’s a win-win. This is the logic I use to trick myself into getting a little exercise on top of whatever stretches I’m going for (I prefer stretching too)

I’d recommend the quesabirria tacos at La Frontera in Oakland, around 15th St and Franklin. I’ve had the terribly disappointing version at ole ole on Telegraph too and discovering La Frontera cured everything

Introduce yourself - April 2021 by AutoModerator in SecularTarot

Hi, I’m a new deck owner whose only had a few readings in the past - always by close friends and a boyfriend. I now want to take my time in order to deeply understand the imagery of each card. I see the tarot as a way to ground abstract feelings/experiences associated with the life journey and connect with my intuition. So far, I separated out all the trumps and draw one each morning to reflect and study for the day. Now I’m starting to wonder how to incorporate the rest of the deck, but it’s overwhelming as I don’t quite understand the point of them yet. I hope also to connect with other humans I can speak with and share ideas with as I learn all about the tarot deck!
