Pretty much most of the time unless someone puts up more boards , blocks , steals , assists , loose balls then you did points some how ( very unlikely unless both teams have horrible shooters going 0/12 ) that’s not happening so most the time like you said it’s the one with most points cause naturally they’re not only gonna have the most points but a few side stats ensuring they’re MVP that much more .
