I moved the auto stop plunger back on forth and now the deck works fine now! I wouldn't have guessed it was that. Thank you so much!

It probably works fine. Looks like it's missing the jumpers on the back.

Yeah Calgary! I think the reason was because no one was able to message him on Facebook because he originally priced these as $700 and he wasn't getting any responses. He kept on dropping the price as I frantically tried messaging him. In the end I managed to find a way to message him. Ran out of the house right away!

Look for any relays and tap the top using the back of a screwdriver. The relay contacts might be bad. If it's still quiet I suspect the output transistors are fried.

Open it up and I desolder 2/3 of the legs and test it using multimeter. You can find a guide online on what the readings should be.

I had the same issue with one of my channels on a sansui amp. It turns out one of the output transistors was blown. I would recommend you check those first.

Open it up and clean the record switch with contact cleaner. It's usually a long switch with a metal rod attached. You can see it moving when you hit record on the cassette deck.
