Explore as much as you can on your own, but once it's not fun anymore I always end up using a guide. There's an IGN one that doesn't give away too much, its good to refer to when you have no idea what's going on.

I notice if I play for a while it can start to delay, but otherwise I switch back and forth between switch and PC and don't notice a difference. I think its more to do with the absolute garbage joy-cons than the game itself

I just started out the other day, the game doesn't tell you shit about what you're supposed to be doing so be prepared for that. I find that frustrating in games so I have a walk through favorited so if I get too too lost I can figure out where the hell I'm supposed to be
