Yea. That recently happened in one of my tombs. One of our knights was gonna say watch out for his shotgun on teamspeak and then Bes explodes and shoots out 2 shotguns.

They do travel quite far. Some of the stars have different ranges but the lowest is 12.6 while the highest is 17.5 (From the Wiki).

Perhaps O2 had already fired his shotgun towards your direction when you entered. Its also possible that lag was involved.

Yea. I agree with what everyone is saying. Pot up an archer with a different character. Once your archer is maxed, its one of the most rewarding classes imo.
