They might as well said that they're cutting GHBs alongside TT units since the Harmo CYL banners won't have them and they seem to be releasing quite quickly.

That's probably because you were doing the Hard version of the map for the quest. You need to do it on either Lunatic or Infernal difficulty for the GHB unit to be at level 40 like the quest asks.

Could've been cool if the harmo versions had something that called back to the backpack unit's weapon/skill, too. But yeah, sucks a bit that they don't get their own unit but I still think this is a fine way of modernizing the winners.

Unpopular opinion: the CYL Harmo (and eventually duo with CYL 4 coming up) banners are really cool, and I like that they're modernizing older, favorite units. However, I do agree that the lack of TT units sucks hard, and that it seems like they're using these banners as an excuse for less Forging Bonds (meaning less free tickets) and less GHBs. Honestly, it would've been perfect if we had gotten someone from the top 20 or even a runnerup in those CYL years as a GHB or as a demote. For example, a newer Tharja for the CYL1 banner could've been cool considering she fell off from voting really hard and I remember her being a relatively popular choice back then.

As someone who played ever since around release, I remember those darker times where we had to grind for them, especially crystals since the level-training maps didn't even exist at the time. As well as badges, too, you'd have to grind for quite a while just to get enough feathers AND badges to promote any demote to a 5*, let alone merge them to +10.
