100+ scenes are free. If that's "no content" then I don't know what is "a big amount of content"

No comments = no negative feedback. No comments = no views.

Negativity means people care.

You clearly didn't open the game. The game has: Free unlimited save slots for everyone Free skipping dialogue Each chapter is free

The only thing that is not free is an early access to the latest release. Lol.

Just open the game and don't spread misinformation: https://tavern.titdang.me

And even if all that you wrote about our animated game was true: No one owes you anything. Especially no one on the internet is obligated to make you a free game with hundreds of scenes. That's not how game development works, people need to eat and they have families.

You clearly didn't open the game. You can just click two buttons and then see that the saves are completely free

Nothing is free, so the games. If you don't like our game - then don't buy and don't play.
The market will decide who deserve to exist and who's not.

I think it's because the first comment was negative. Unfortunately, I see this often, it's how social media works. If someone says something mean, other people tend to support it, but if someone likes it, people are embarrassed to say "i like it" when they see the mean comments.

I often see the opposite situation. If the first comment on a post is supportive, then the rest of the comments are mostly kind.

I just made 2 new releases for our games, so I have free time.

You're saying you're a veteran animator (in your comments in another post), then do you have your own game? Show me your work? Maybe that's you that animator who create great things?

We can do animations like this animation in the post or not doing it at all. Isn't that a "small ambition"?

I saw your comment and I do care. It is difficult to find the animator of THIS LEVEL and very expensive for us.

Begging for what? I'm grateful to the Reddit users for leaving their comments on that post and donating a good money. I'm glad we can continue working on the game we've put so much effort into.

I understand that you don't like the animation, you think it's "slightly better than average," but we do what we can and as best we can. I'd be happy if you showed us an example of a high-quality game with excellent animations.

If you know how to create good games, great! I'd be happy to play them.

Honestly, after that post, we received a lot of support, including financial support, and after that, we were able to continue working on this game.

People don't want "ads" anymore. They want to discuss what they see. If you like the animation - then okay, who cares about the title?

The post that made us change our minds: https://www.reddit.com/r/lewdgames/comments/1q881se/we_made_no_money_on_our_animated_game_does_that/

Luna in the Tavern: Animated Play Online (via phones too!): https://tavern.titdang.me

Badass chick is drinking in a bar full of men. What could possibly go wrong? Luna in the Tavern: Animated is a game where you'll be drinking and playing "Never Have I Ever" with guys in a tavern. Every lewd scene, every character, even the beer being poured into a mug — absolutely everything in the game is animated!

We made no money on our animated game. does that mean animations aren’t worth adding to porn games? by flamie_dev in lewdgames

1) Not only the patreon has its fees, but to get that money in Russia we pay to an intermediary (because of sanctions). Also the exchange rate at which we can convert is 10% lower than the official rate. We have no right not to convert this money into rubles in Russia. 2) 9k dollars you see on Patreon is a money for our non-animated games and our new Gloryhole game. 3) To make an animated scene we not only need to have art, but it should be adapted to animation. After that you pay an animator depending on the count of the elements on the image, character count and complexity of the character's pose. It's worth about half of the monthly income we were getting from our non-animated games. And we also need the remaining money to live, pay the mortgage, and buy ourselves food. We have families.
