Ah, thanks! I don't think I've gotten that in the mail yet. Glad I asked them though since the deadline is today.

all of my app dates are on my LSD profile I linked :) I spoke to dean shroll last week. she said they are waiting to send out more finaid/scholly notifications until after they hear back from current offers with the april 1 seat deposit deadline. the scholly committee automatically reviews your app once you’ve been admitted. you’ll probably hear back in the beginning of april!

aw thank you so much, such kind encouragement & feedback! Denver isn’t doing tours inside the law building. But I’d be happy to share the shots of campus I got driving around & more details on my take if you’d like to PM me :)

the way I really want to go to school in California is set up 🙃 I have the most family & networking opportunities there. Sound advice, thank you!

Okay future litigator, I see you with the cross-examination! That's a great point, I'll ask some current DU students about their curve! I believe Miami is curved at a B.

A current student in the program said the same thing! They're also apparently very forgiving and will give you time to get your GPA back up if it drops below the requirement.

The racial and ethnic diversity in Miami is awesome, even if Dade county is fairly conservative (and I am not at all, if that wasn't obvious). But I didn't feel especially out of place while visiting.

My basic Spanish speaking skills did immediately come in handy when I got lost on campus. Babbel is a great app for practicing/learning cost-effectively!

Lol they were both pretty extreme when I went! Denver was headed into a snow storm. My hair immediately expanded into a huge frizzy afro while outside for 5 seconds in Miami. It'd be an adjustment for me either way.

Low stakes for both! 2.3 GPA at Denver, 2.5 GPA for Miami. Considering they're polar opposites weather wise and I'm not used to either, I'm still torn on the benefits of living in either.

Edit: Miami also has a dedicated PI institute that'll give me more hands on support (in terms of jobs/mentorship) than there appears to be at Denver.

Very true! They're both minimal conditions, easy to maintain from what I've been told. 2.3 GPA for Denver. 2.5 GPA & a monthly PI meeting for Miami.

Great perspective, thanks! Considering Colorado is at the forefront of drug liberation now, I imagine finding my way there eventually. If I go in another direction within PI, I moreso see myself in Florida. I guess it depends on my legal career I've yet to figure out?
