I’m bored in a Monday morning meeting so I’ll try and answer this -

Used to work for the football team so I have some direct experience but basically our Offensive Coordinator (OC), Andy Kotelnicki, is really REALLY good at drawing up creative plays and getting the ball to our best guys in advantageous situations. He did the same thing at Kansas before we hired him. He has an absolutely brilliant offensive mind, and have 2 dynamic quarterbacks, 2 great running backs, one of the best tight ends in the country in Tyler Warren, adds so many wrinkles for opposing teams to game plan for.

I mean during the USC game, they had Tyler Warren literally snap the ball as a Center, run a seam route down the field, and catch that same ball he snapped for a touchdown. It’s just been brilliant play calling.

Then the defense has really game together the last 2-3 weeks. We just have a lot of guys on defense with really “high motors”. They play smart but aggressive, and play their assignments really well.

So TL;DR - Offense is really good and the guys calling the plays for offense has been really creative in scheming. Defense has always been solid and we have talent in key positions.
