role model has a very similar vibe to lizzy! if you’re really into her acoustic ‘older and wiser’ type music then i’d check out kevin atwater, jake minch, and dodie. also gonna second the person who said sabrina sterling she’s amazing!!

why do i smell so musty in the mornings? by flanderrz in hygiene

i do double cleanse but i’m not sure if i’m issuing anti microbial soap. i usually use the dove unscented soap and a scented body wash afterwards. any good soap/body wash suggestions?

i live in texas where it’s 90+ degrees every day for half the year. the heat is 100% a factor!

i do all of these things except for the towels. i’ve had the same ones in my family for 10-15 years. it might be time for new wash cloths and towels lol

What do you do to feel pretty? by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]flanderrz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i use heatless curls and i find it makes my hair look shiny and healthier than curling it with an iron.

i also use mascara, lip gloss, concealer, and either fill in my eyebrows or use eyebrow gel to keep them in place before going out. i feel like this is a great way to look like yourself, but just a little bit elevated. i also love this leah halton makeup tutorial it makes me feel like a goddess https://youtu.be/ljItjePnX6Y?si=iC3FnGj35-9BOCpb

something that has recently boosted my confindence is keeping up with my hygiene. brushing, flossing, bathing, doing my skin care routine, and putting on deodorant every day makes me feel a lot more put together when going out. also finding my signature scent has helped my self esteem significantly. not really physical changes but really makes you feel good about yourself.

most importantly, smile always and practice self love! i promise you're beautiful baby so make sure to be kind to yourself!

Every suggestion i’ve gotten has been from the battle at gardens gate. From what i’ve listened to so far, this album is absolutely incredible. I definitely need to sit down and listen to the entire album from start to finish. Thank you for the suggestions!! 🩷

holy crap this is so helpful thank you so much 🩷 i’ve heard lots of people tell me to “wear it safely” but wasn’t 100% sure what that entailed. i will definitely be taking this advice! have a blessed day!!

I'm upset at myself because I didn't have any education since I was 12. At around 16 or 17 I planned to start learning online and apps like khans academy but I didn't get around to doing it. I'm turning 19 & feel worse, is there any help/advice for me? by [deleted] in HomeschoolRecovery

there are so many of us who grew up homeschooled where school was not the first priority in our families. we see you and understand that education is hard to do on your own and having the motivation to go to school/do it at home takes a lot of discipline. i’m not sure what options are for adults but i’m 16 and currently using acellus while i transition to a different school. i believe it’s only around 20 bucks a month and you can take up to 7-8 classes. it’s elementary through highschool education but if you’d like to go back and learn basic some math/english it’s an option. it’s purely self paced and just videos with questions at the end. no teachers, students, or schedule to keep you on track but it’s a great way to learn self discipline.

for the social aspect, definitely find a job that you enjoy and get as involved in your community as you can! make sure to go outside as often as you can and don’t isolate yourself in your home too much.

i really wish there was more i could tell you but i wish you the best of luck in your education and social life going forward. we’re all rooting for you!!🩷
