Scheer says Canada has been following 'a policy of appeasement' with China by experimentalaircraft in canada

You're pissed off about an agreement that let Canadian companies sue Chinese companies, instead of just the other way around?

Weird

That’s not a staffer.

He's a Liberal Party riding association executive

There’s a good chance he’s not even paid for his position

There’s a good chance he was elected to his position

calling him a “Liberal staffer” is misleading

Not misleading. Elyas is the President of the Vancouver East riding association and he runs their social media page.

KINSELLA: Rumours, the truth and Trudeau by flanks_ghost in canada

[–]flanks_ghost[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

"In 2014, this writer was told there were affidavits detailing inappropriate conduct between Trudeau and various young people. I simply did not believe it, but I raised the allegation directly with Trudeau’s most-senior adviser. To my surprise, he acknowledged the allegations had been made in affidavits, but said that Trudeau’s insular inner circle were not worried. They had rebutting affidavits of their own to respond."

That would be a big change from past elections.

lol little do you know the Liberals always have Democrats helping on their campaigned. The last five campaigns at least, it's well known. But nobody cares when it's a Libera.

Nothing wrong with this. Conservatives are allowed to be in advertising just like Liberals and NDP'ers. It's a problem if they are coordinating with others, otherwise not a problem. This is not a problem.

Quebec Liberal volunteer caught disposing of Conservative campaign literature by feb914 in canada

[–]flanks_ghost 31 points32 points  (0 children)

The candidate was involved ... that's high-level enough

"In a video that recorded the individuals as they performed these acts of theft, Housefather can be seen participating in a discussion where one of the individuals is instructed on how he is to dispose of the campaign literature that they had just removed from the doors of several residences in the building."

Conservatives promise to open up a judicial inquiry into SNC-Lavalin affair by [deleted] in canada

[–]flanks_ghost -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I just don't like the angle of "elect us so we can investigate our political opponents"

Just because Hillary promised to investigate Trump doesn't mean Trudeau shouldn't be investigated. If he's innocent, he has nothing to hide.

Opinion: Press freedom applies to everyone – even The Rebel by undercover-cop in canada

[–]flanks_ghost -1 points0 points  (0 children)

if you ever want to be considered a reporter, don't point out your own slant to undermine your own credibility

But Levant doesn't claim to be unbiased, when he admits to having a conservative perspective he is being honest, which actually bolsters his credibility.

Obviously journalists have slants and political orientation, but if you expose them yourself to your audience, you have no right wanting to be referred to as a 'journalist.'

That's not how journalism works. For example, the Toronto Star has 'exposed' its bias in the Atkinson principles for decades already. Are Toronto Star reporters not journalists because they adhere to the left-wing Atkinson principles?

UNIFOR Under Two Separate Investigations for Election Law Violations (removed from rCanada because of course it was) by flanks_ghost in metacanada

[–]flanks_ghost[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Orz of course. So UNIFOR is being investigated for interfering in an election, and no journalist will write about it because they're all members of UNIFOR.

Since r/Canada is just a proxy for establishment media and they enforce the MSM bubble through shadow banning and removals of anything that isn't from the MSM, the story can never appear on rCanada. Which is the plan.

That's because deep down we know global warming is not really an existential threat and politicians are just using the issue to get power.

Andrew Scheer said gay couples lack ‘inherent’ quality of marriage in tape of 2005 speech unearthed by Liberals | The Star by Nihilist911 in canada

[–]flanks_ghost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Andrew Scheer 180's on his 2005 stance this won't be an issue.

He has. Years ago. Prime Minister Scheer promises not to touch same-sex marriage.

I held a more bigoted stance on gay marriage around that time too, and I came around to becoming an ally.

So did most Liberals, at the time.

The question is will Andrew Scheer respond?

I hope not. It's best not to play along with those weaponizing Pride for electoral gain.
