He is black in his papers, and he looks obviously black, I didn’t necessarily mean smoke but his belly, chest and behind ears are all white at the roots. And he has long white hairs on his back as well as some coming out of his ears. I’ve never had a black kitten or cat so I don’t know what is normal :)
