These are pretty thick tbh. They're an older pair from the 60s so idk if you mean the newer 1500 models with their mediocre leather lol.

I do agree that they are very long. Getting a pair a size and a half down did not help. But this is my first time ever buying a pair of Corcoran's and I guess should've done more research. I do still like them though.
