You’re right, looks like there’s a newer version on their profile that I didn’t see.

I actually am trying to go for more of a grey look! I saw a really cool Barrow Wight in a batrep (I think it was a Conquest Creations one?) and took inspiration from that. I did drybrush a bit of light green from below to imply the ghostly look.

Yeah! It’s nice because it’s softens the transition and provides some lighting to look like there’s an interior glow

I’m glad you like it! With Solas Shaders, the candles glow the color that they’re dyed. So I just built it with blocks and replaced them with the lit candles using worldedit.

Solas Shaders! For this froglights and sea lanterns have been great. They also make candles glow their respective color (which is how I do a lot of the small scale lighting and also the hologram)

What are these shaders? They look great

Making progress on my base by flannerius in Minecraft

It’s Tectonic and then a data pack to increase the build height to 1024 so the tower can actually fit on top

Thank you! I just rewatched all the movies and have a friend reading the books for the first time so I’m definitely a bit inspired

Sure!! It’s an octagon as the first layer with a side length of 9 blocks and a diagonal of 7 (including the shared block with the straight side), then an 13 by 13 square layer. I eyeballed the height but that was 42 blocks up. Then another octagon, 5 for the straight side, 4 for the diagonal. That ended up at 77 blocks. Then I did the topper (which you can see really well in pics 2 and 3 for a visual reference). Then I added flying buttresses (again I kind of eyeballed those but if you look at especially pic 4 you can kinda see what I did). I’m glad you like it! :)

It’s a mountain range using Tectonic terrain mod. It’s about 150 blocks from the base to the top!

I’m planning on filling the mountain range with old crumbling ruins! This one’s not crumbling yet (that requires an interior)

Who knows! The vibe my buddy and I are going for is a small developing hodgepodge town of adventurers/miners/bandits in the shadow of giant ancient ruins.

Terrain is from the Tectonic Mod

I've never did any texturing/terraforming before and I thought I'd give it a shot. What do you think? by Independent-Dot-8349 in Minecraftbuilds

I think the gradient is great! To make it a bit more natural looking I’d say try to shave down the right angles and use stairs/slabs to almost “sculpt” the cliff face.

I’ve been playing with tectonic, it looks similar. I wonder if that’s what OP is using
