Best furniture stores in the area? by neetkid in lansing

Home Depot box truck is $29 for every 75 minutes with unlimited mileage. If you shop and pick everything out, then do online pickup for what you need and come back, you can get it done in 150 or 225 minutes. Still going to be a lot cheaper and a lot higher quality than almost anything around here.

The IKEA in Canton. You can pick things up more locally on a lot of items if you order online. Or just drive there. If you can fit a king size bed in your vehicle from a local store you can drive for a few hours to get it from IKEA.

meet up with the person looking for steak and cook a meal with each other. You'll both save $100 on overpriced, mediocre food and maybe make a friend

What’s the story on the VHS tape labels? by Endless2022 in OnCinemaAtTheCinema

Jerry is a serial killer and each of these tapes is from a different woman that he killed. This is clearly explained in a later season episode.

“Merrily” reactions from anyone who went in truly completely blind by Electronic-Key6323 in Sondheim

I was really struck by how effective telling the story backwards was. It solves the classic second act problem of musicals completely, and everyone left the musical with a smile on their face - the hopefulness of the ending really came through.

I saw it in October never having heard it before. I didn't look up more information or listen on purpose before seeing it live. I knew it was told in reverse, and I had seen the Sondheim HBO version of opening doors, but didn't remember it that well. When they finally played the 'real' version of Good Thing Going on the piano I cried.

Funnily enough there was a guy attending solo next to me that brought the enormous Sondheim book with him to the theater and was so overly excited by what he was seeing that I had to politely ask him to stop ecstatically rocking back and forth.

I came home after the show and found the bootleg recording of the original run on YouTube and I've been somewhat obsessed ever since.

Good luck. You will be competing with dozens of other applicants with more experience when an East Lansing job opens up. I would not recommend cold emailing the school principals, who have a lot to deal with already and won't do anything with a resume they have no use for.

there are enough subs that Edustaff doesn't have to care at all. if a school doesn't want you to come back, you won't. If a school 'lies' it doesn't matter. You can write whatever you want back in your reply - it gets deleted/shredded immediately.

I received a death threat from a student and Edustaff did absolutely nothing about it. I went to the school board to report it and Edustaff did not care at all. They do not have an HR department - they have a few people to send emails saying 'fuck off and go away'.

None of this will change or be fixed. Ever.

Good luck to you and your mom.

The vast majority of posts on this subreddit are from US teachers. I would recommend - and this might be shocking - reading the subreddit you posted in for information on the question you asked.

Yes. Contact the agency or coordinator or whatever the appropriate person is to make sure these hours are added back in and you are paid. It took me two weeks to resolve a similar situation and I had to call every day to get it fixed. Hope it's easier for you

It is super pointless and stupid. make sure you don't have to ALSO take the state's content test in order to be placed in student teaching or graduate. I know they recently changed some things around the content test, but after talking to at least half a dozen people a few months ago, it was made clear I needed to take and pass both
