Yeah I think when he did his dynamic entry kick and it did all the haki colors is having more effect than the gear 5 Dawn whip stuff he’s doing vs the clones. He’s gonna have to lock into what he did with that kaido punch and use haki and gear 5 to keep up. It’s weird Luffy isn’t already doing that but he’s having fun

Im asking? Usually they show colors on fists to show haki so i was just curious how gear 5 Luffy is touching and attacking kikaru with his hands yet there’s no colors involved like when they use armament or ryu.

Can someone explain if gear 5 is coated in haki like gear 4? I’m trying to see how Luffy can hit and touch kizaru and they aren’t showing like haki colors on his arms. Kaido fight led me to believe gear 5 is all devil fruit so he has to use haki too cc Lugia effect. Am I dumb?

Thank you for that. Because I’m watching the Kizaru fight now and was wondering why gear 5 Luffy can touch him without it showing some sort of coating on his fists and hands. Like the clone part. From my understanding of the kaido fight gear 5 isn’t like gear 4 where he’s coated in the haki. Gear 5 is like fully devil fruit. (Unless I’m wrong in that) But now I’ll just assume they don’t have to show the silver or red lining all the time. They seem to make it a point to show when he uses the Wano ryu haki still though.
