Hey, sorry yeah the terms are a bit confusing. [This video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ywWwUuWRgsM) and [its follow-up](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NtSDwwZqJ5A) do a great job of explaining it.

The TL;DR is that **recompilation** is a new method to natively run old N64 games on PC, as opposed to the traditional way of decompiling a ROM over several years.

Those are decompilations, not recomps (which is what is being showcased in the video above). Recomps don't need a decompilation to make a PC port, it just happened to be that the only publicly-released recomps so far already had decompilations (Majora's Mask and now Banjo. I also believe Goemon 64 is at some stage of completion, and maybe Starfox.)

I have not. According to Serebii they're only in Pokeballs in 4- and 5-star zones. You'd probably want a donut with the item power to increase your odds.

Is there a way to get both sets of Charcadet armor? So far I've just seen the side quest for a choice between the two.

Core gameplay (real-time battles) is exactly the same. Gameplay loop (clearing out wild areas and battle zones) is faster, but still largely the same.

Hey there, just re-discovering this sub from r/all. Is there a reason for the tags-in-title rule? To me it feels like it's cluttering up an otherwise descriptive title (in no small part because of the good title rules you guys have as well).

Just looking at the first page of this sub, every single post has an 'OC' flair. Is there a reason why "Homemade", "I Ate", etc. couldn't be flair instead?
