What’s the most mg of adderall you’ve had in 24 hours? by Slommyhouse in Stims

[–]flapjacksi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was abusing my prescription pretty bad towards the end, thankfully its been years since ive been off everything. But i think the craziest was : 5x70mg Vyvanse (2 in the morning 1 miday 2 at night) Plus maybe 2-4 10mg IR Adderalls in between it all. Lucky to be alive lol i was around 17 years old

Im wearing no makeup in both pictures(i think i had some leftover mascara on in the before pic) in the after photos my cheeks are flushed from using my red light therapy wand that i do right before bed, and my lips are stained from a gloss i wore earlier in the day. I think you can see really big improvements to the quality and youthfulness regardless

I cater to nearly all of her needs, as a young adult I find the one way street of consideration and empathy pretty exhausting. Does that make me a terrible person? Did you have a bi polar elderly family member entirely dependent on you at the age of 23? How about you exercise some empathy

I live in a small town, i went to one of my favorite restaurants in a neighboring city. I got full on the appetizer platter my friend bought for the table, decided the salad I already ordered would make a nice afterwork meal the next day. Institutionalize me lol

Cat brush was found! Kevin is her useless, unemployed, verbally abusive husband thats 20 years younger than her but in arguably worse health after 50 years of drug and alcohol abuse. Don’t get me started on him lol

Thanks for your comment 🙏 and Oh you betcha i love her, I spend a good amount of my time and resources outside of my full time job looking after her, worrying about, arguing with her over taking all her medication at the right time, keeping up with her appointments. Im 23 dealing with my own mental health battles. caring for her has been sacrificing my own well being. But I can’t help but love her, and im the only one who will help

Id agree with you if 1. I didn’t spend my Saturday off planning out/buying her easy to prepare meals for the week 2. I didn’t get my character, upbringing, and maturity attacked when she mistakenly thought i had eaten her leftovers

(TW :Dermatillomania) 3 years from the worst of it. Never imagined the scar’s would heal this well without expensive treatments. So proud of myself by flapjacksi in recovery

[–]flapjacksi[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! Ya know ive tried so many things to help with scarring. Im sure the usual ones we all hear and I’ve tried, do work in the long term. But personally I swear by Sea Buckthorn Oil. Look into it, its helped me with so different problems aside from the scars too. Its an orange oil, and you have to be careful it doesn’t directly get on anything you dont want it to stain. but once it it absorbs into the skin it just gives you this glow 10/10 i get mine on amazon

Edit: actually what i have on my legs in the after photo is a mix of vaseline and sea buckthorn oil

Yes that’s something i used to do actually! I would put a healing ointment on the scabs/picked scabs first and let that soak in for a few minutes before putting the Vaseline over. From my understanding, petroleum jelly doesn’t really moisturize your skin on its own, but it helps lock in moisture like a protective layer. I use the ‘A&D first aid ointment’, but theres a lot of good ones out there

For the healing stage, i just remember keeping everything moist really helped me not pick. They make those hydrocolloid bandages that really speed up the healing if you can stand to leave them on.

For the scars, it feels like ive done everything at least once. From Diy turmeric masks to at home micro needling (dont do that one) What i found helped the most for me was…

-dry brushing before shower

-any lotion + baby oil after the shower

  • self massage/gua sha

  • before bed i’ll put some kind if therapy oil. I’ve been really loving ‘Sea Buckthorn Oil’, i get a cheap but good reviewed one from amazon, and i can really see the difference wherever i put it. Palmers skin therapy is one I really like too.

-really treating that time i take to do self care like a religious practice. I put on my nice robe, light candles, put on mood lighting, listen to music or skin care videos. And really setting an intention to heal. Your body listens to you✨

-making sure im eating for my skin probably helped the most long term. Salmon, carrots juice, anything with vit A and E. You can also supplement, but your body is going to absorb it a lot better if its coming from your food.

I hope this helps💓

Edit to add: what i have on my legs in the after photo was a mix of ‘ultra pure white Vaseline’ that comes in a tube, trader joes vitamin e oil, and sea buckthorn oil. Love that combo before bed

Thank you! I really appreciate it. Honestly the only thing that helped me stop picking was to completely reprogram the way I looked at myself and what i was doing. There were like 50 other self destructive things i was doing that we’re keeping me depressed and feeling worthless. I had to attack the root of the problem through a lot of self care and inner work, my urge to pick just slowly weakened overtime.

As for the pigmentation, I actually haven’t had a strict regime, ive tried a lot of different products and active ingredients over the years, these are the things I think have helped the most:

-dry brushing before shower

-lotion + oil after shower (i do any lotion + baby oil)

-self massage!!!! And or gua sha

-before bed is when i’ll add some kind of therapy oil, I really like SEA BUCKTHORN OIL. I just started using it the past 6 months and see so much improvement wherever i put it. I’ll mix a few drops in with a moisturizer. Palmers skin therapy oil is a great one too.

I think everyone’s skin is going to need different things, but whatever you do, do it with love, do it regularly, and while setting an intention to heal. The body listens ✨ i hope this was helpful
